Abstract

Lulusan Departemen PKK FPTK UPI disiapkan untuk menjadi tenaga pendidik (guru) yang profesional bidang keilmuan pariwisata, namun berdasarkan hasil survey menunjukan rata-rata mahasiswa tidak menjadikan profesi guru sebagai orientasi pekerjaan selepas lulus kuliah. Untuk menjawab permasalahan di atas maka dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan keahlian profesi guru ditinjau dari hasil belajar MKKP, dan pengalaman PLP terhadap minat menjadi guru profesional pada mahasiswa Departemen PKK FPTK UPI. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa Departemen PKK FPTK UPI angkatan 2011, sebanyak 40 mahasiswa dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa studi dokumentasi dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, (1) Hasil belajar mata kuliah keahlian profesi guru berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat menjadi guru profesional dengan keeratan hubungan terkategori sedang. (2) Pengalaman PLP berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat menjadi guru profesional dengan keeratan hubungan terkategori rendah. (3) Hasil belajar mata kuliah keahlian profesi guru dan pengalaman program latihan profesi berpengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap minat menjadi guru profesional dengan keeratan hubungan terkategori sedang----------Graduates Department of PKK FPTK UPI prepared to be educators (teachers) that professional scientific fields of tourism, but based on the results of the survey showed the average student does not make the teaching profession as a job after graduating from college orientation. To answer the above problems, the research aimed to determine how much influence the mastery of science teachers' professional expertise in terms of learning outcomes MKKP and experience PLP to be a teacher professional interest in students of the Department of PKK FPTK UPI. Design research is correlational research. The samples were students of the Department of PKK FPTK UPI class of 2011, as many as 40 students using the instrument in the form of documentary studies and questionnaires. Based on the survey results revealed that, (1) Results of study subjects teacher professional expertise significantly affect the interest of becoming a professional teacher with the relationship being categorized. (2) Experience PLP significantly affect the interest of becoming a professional teacher with the relationship categorized low. (3) The results of study subjects teacher professional expertise and experience of professional training program jointly affect the interest of becoming a professional teacher with the relationship being categorized
