Abstract
Karya sastra novel yang diterbitkan di Indonesia sampai saat ini sangat melimpah, baik yang dikarang oleh sastrawan pemula maupun sastrawan yang sudah matang. Salah satu novel yang di dalamnya mengandung banyak kritik sosial adalah novel berjudul Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam karya Mayon Sutrisno. Novel lain dengan latar perang Vietnam adalah novel Without a Name karya seorang pelaku sejarah dalam perang Vietnam bernama Duong Thu Huong yang telah diterjemahkan oleh Sapardi Djokodamono. Pengkajian terhadap kedua novel tersebut akan dilakukan dengan pendekatan Sosiologi sastra. Pendekatan sosiologi sastra memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengkaji karya sastra dalam hubungannya dengan sistem sosial yang terjadi di dalam masyarakat. Setelah mengkaji selanjutnya akan dibandingkan hasil pengkajian terhadap kedua novel tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian ini mengangkat judul “Kajian Bandingan Aspek formatif Novel Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam Karya Mayon Sutrisno dengan Novel Terjemahan Without a Name Karya Duong Thu Huong (Studi deskriptif Analitik Komparatif sebagai Upaya Pendalaman Bahan Ajar Apresiasi Prosa Fiksi di Perguruan Tinggi).” Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) bagaimanakah aspek formatif novel Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam karya Mayon Sutrisno? 2) Bagaimanakah aspek formatif novel terjemahan Without a Name karya Duong Thu Huong? 3) Bagaimanakah perbandingan aspek formatif novel Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam dengan Novel terjemahan Without a Name? 4) Bagaimanakah pendalaman bahan ajar dengan memanfatkan hasil analisis aspek formatif kedua novel? Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan aspek formatif sastra dalam novel Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam karya Mayon Sutrisno, 2) mendeskripsikan aspek formatif sastra dalam novel terjemahan Without a Name karya Duong Thu Huong, 3) mendeskripsikan perbandingan aspek formatif novel yang terdapat dalam kedua novel, 4) mendeskripsikan pendalaman bahan ajar apresiasi prosa fiksi dengan memanfaatkan hasil analisis aspek formatif kedua novel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik komparatif, yaitu sebuah metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis dan membandingan dua objek penelittian. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Indonesia dan novel terjemahan. Hasil penelitian ini telah menjawab pertenyan-pertanyaan peneitian dalam rumusan masalah yaitu: 1) aspek formatif novel dalam novel Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam terdiri atas aspek kebudayaan, ideologi dan kepercayaan, common sense, kaum intelektual, dan Negara, 2) aspek formatif novel dalam novel terjemahan Without a Name terdiri atas aspek kebudayaan, ideologi dan kepercayaan, common sense, kaum intelektual, dan negara, 3) perbedaan aspek formatif novel terdapat pada penempatan aspek formatif serta perbandingan unsur-unsurnya, 4) hasil analisis dan perbandingan aspek formatif novel dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pendalaman bahan ajar Apresiasi prosa fiksi di perguruan tinggi dalam bentuk modul pembelajaran. Dari hasil penelitian ini penulis merekomendasikan bagi para dosen apresiasi prosa fiksi untuk lebih mengembangkan materi pembelajaran sosiologi sastra bagi mahasiswa. Bagai para peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut terhadap novel Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam dan Novel Terjemahan Without a Name agar meneliti lebih lanjut.----------Novel belles-lettres published in Indonesia are abundant, they are either written by novice or acknowledged man of letters. One of the novels that contains social critics on it is “Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam” by Mayon Sutrisno. Another novel with war background is “Without a Name” by a man who was involved in Vietnam war named Duong Thu Huong and It has been translated by Sapardi Djokodamono. The analysis on these two novels was based on sociological literature approach. This approach enable the researcher to analyze the literature in relation to the social system in the society. After analyzing the formative aspects of the two novels, the result was then compared. Based on the aforementioned problem, this research formulate the title as: “Kajian Bandingan Aspek Formatif Novel Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam karya Mayon Sutrisno dengan Novel Terjemahan Without a Name Karya Duong Thu Huong (Studi Deskriptif Analitik Komparatif Sebagai Upaya Pendalaman Bahan Ajar Apresiasi Prosa Fiksi di Perguruan Tinggi)” This research formulate the problems as follows: 1) What are the formative aspects of “Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam” by Mayon Sutrisno? 2) What are the formative aspects of translated version of “Without a Name”? 3) What are the comparison result of the formative aspects between “Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam” and of translated version of “Without a Name”? How was the result of the analysis of the formatives aspects of the two novels were implemented in developing learning materials? This research was aimed to: 1) describing the formative aspects of “Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam, 2) describing the formative aspects of the translated version of “Without a Name,” 3) comparing the formative aspects contained in the two novels, 4) describing how the result of the analysis of the formative aspects of the two novels were implemented in developing Prose Fiction Appreciation materials. This study employed descriptive analytic comparative, a method that is used to analyze and compare two research objects. The data of the research were taken from Indonesian and translated novels. The result of the study found that : 1) the formative aspects of the novel “ Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam” consist of : cultural, ideological and belief, common sense, intellectuals and national aspects, 2) in addition, the formative aspects of the translated novel “Without a Name” consist of : cultural, ideological and belief, common sense, intellectuals and national aspects. 3) The differences between the two novels lie in the formative aspects assignation and the comparison of the respective elements, 4) the result of analysis and the comparison of the formative aspects can be used to develop Prose Fiction Appreciation materials in the university level in the forms of learning module. Based on the aforementioned result, the researcher recommended that the lecturers on Prose Fiction Appreciation develop more sociological literature learning materials for their students. And for other researchers, the writer suggested to conduct further research on “Kabut Kiriman dari Vietnam” and transalted version of “Without a Name” novels to graft the historical values from those two novels.
