Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui sejauh mana efektivitas komunikasi terhadap kerjasama tim dalam cabang olahraga permainan bola basket. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian adalah (1) Bagaimana hubungan komunikasi antar individu tim bola basket? (2) Bagaimana kendala dalam meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi tim bola basket SMPN 1 Ciledug?, (3) Bagaimana upaya dalam meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi tim bola basket SMP N 1 Ciledug?. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota tim bola basket SMPN 1 Ciledug dengan sampel anggota bola basket tim putri. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan angket, wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hubungan efektivitas komunikasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kerjasama tim. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil penghitungan melalui software SPSS 20 dan analisis statistik Korelasi Pearson’s Product Moment didapat harga koefisien korelasi antara Variabel X (Efektivitas Komunikasi) dan Variabel Y (Kerjasama Tim) sebesar 0,700 yang terletak diantara 0,600 sampai dengan 0,799 dengan daerah korelasi kuat. Dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa efektifitas komunikasi memiliki hubungan yang kuat terhadap kerjasam tim dalam cabang olahraga bola basket. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah hubungan efektifitas komunikasi terhadap kerjasama tim dipengaruhi 5 kualitas umum yang harus dimiliki diantaranya keterbukaan, empati, sikap mendukung, sikap positif, dan kesetaraan. Saran dalam penelitian untuk anggota tim bola basket agar selalu menjadikan komunikasi dan kerjasama tim sebagai pengikat antara anggota tim, Pembina, pelatih dan pihak sekolah untuk mempertahankan prestasi juga selalu mengadakan silaturahmi berkunjung ke sesama anggota baik yang masih aktif mapun yang sudah lulus dari sekolah. Untuk meningkatkan kerjasama tim harus selalu diadakan kegiatan uji coba untuk mengukur kekompakan tim dengan cara latihan bersama-sama dengan sekolah-sekolah yang ada di Kapubaten Cirebon. --------- The research is pointed to look at how effective communication towards team cooperation in basketball game. The research questions of the study are (1) what is the correlation between intern communications towards team cooperation in this kind of sport? (2) What are the difficulties in increasing the efficiency of communication of basketball team in SMPN 1 Ciledug? (3) What are the efforts in developing the efficiency of communication of basketball team in SMPN 1 Ciledug? Population used in the study is basketball team members of SMPN1 Ciledug with the sample is the woman team. The researcher conducted the study by using questionnaires, interview, observation, and documented reading. Then, the study showed that intern communication has a significant influence towards team cooperation. That can be gotten from calculation result by using software spss 20 and statistics correlation analysis Pearson’s. It was resulted that coefficient correlation value between variable X (communication efficiency) and variable Y (team cooperation) was 0,700 which was categorized between 0,600 – 0,7999 and be classified as strong correlation. It can be concluded that communication efficacy has strong correlation towards team cooperation in basketball game. The conclusion of the study is that the relationship of communication effectiveness towards team cooperation is influenced by five general qualities which must be fitted such as openness, empathy, encouragement, positive attitude and equality. Some suggestion of the study for the team members are that always consider intern communication and team cooperation as the held between team members, manager, coach and school supervisor in order to maintain achievement. And also that always keep contact by visiting members’ place and hold reunion party with the ex-members. The last but not least, to advance team cooperation, sparing with other teams of many Cirebon region schools or having friendly match must be held to measure the togetherness or team harmony.
