Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Efektivitas Model Evaluasi Program Pelatihan di Business Administration Academy Telkom Corporate University”. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini mengenai ketercapaian tujuan penggunaan model evaluasi program pelatihan di Business Administration Academy Telkom Corporate University.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran dan informasi mengenai sejauh mana efektivitas penerapan model evaluasi program pelatihan yang diterapkan di Business Administratiton Academy. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini karena adanya wacana untuk mengganti model evaluasi program pelatihan yang sudah digunakan sejak pertama Telkom Corporate University ini berdiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara narasumber, observasi dan studi dokumentasi.Berdasarkan temuan-temuan dan pembahasan hasil penelitian bahwa model evaluasi yang dikembangkan di lingkungan Telkom Corporate University ialah model Kirkpatrick yang dilengkapi dengan model Jack Phillips. Pada implementasinya untuk level 1 mengukur reaksi dengan menggunakan format UBPP. Pada level 2 menggunakan pola pre dan posttest. Level 3 melakukan survey pada alumni peserta pelatihan dan atasan alumni di tempatnya bekerja setelah 3 bulan jarak dari selesai pelatihan. Pada level 4 dan 5 terakhir dilakukan pada tahun 2012. Dari hasil temuan dan analisis data yang dilakukan, yang mencapai nilai efektif adalah level 1 dan level 2, untuk level 3 masih perlu pengembangan dan level 4, level 5 membutuhkan komitmen akademi (BAA) untuk menerapkannya. Adapun rekomendasi yang penulis ajukan kepada lembaga khususnya BAA TCU terkait dengan metode evaluasi. Pertama, pada level 1 adanya pengarahan urgensi mengisi form UBPP. Pada level 2, membuat soal dengan model studi kasus. Level 3 menambah kolom komentar yang harus diisi oleh responden dibawah soal-soal pilihan dan disesuaikan dengan sistem sehingga jika responden tidak mengisi tidak bisa submit. Agar dapat memperoleh kepastian data maka lakukan survey tidak hanya kepada atasan melainkan pada rekan kerja atau bawahan peserta pelatihan yang terkait langsung dengan pegawai.----------The research’s entitled “The Analysis of evaluation model in Business Administration Academy Telkom Corporate University’s Training Program”. The issue discussed in this research is about the achievement of implementation goal in Business Administration Academy Telkom Corporate University’s Training Program. The aim of this research is getting point of view and information about how effective the implementation of Business Administration Academy Telkom Corporate University’s Training Program. The background of the research is an issue of evaluation model’s changing which has been used for a long time even since first time the university built. This research used descriptive method and qualitative approach. The technique of data’s collection is used by interview method, observation, and documentation’s view. According to data and research’s information, it’s shown that evaluation model which Telkom Corporate University has been developed is Kirkpatrick’s model and equipped by Jack Phillips’s model. In the implementation of 1st level, it determined reaction by using UBPP’s format. For the 2nd level, it determined by pre and post test pattern. For the 3rd level, it was accomplished by doing survey on trainee alumni and alumni’s senior at the place they’ve been working since 3 months after the training’s finished. For the 4th and the last level was accomplished in 2012. According to data and its analysis, the effective value which successfully reached is the 1st level and the 2nd level. The 3rd level should be increased and the 4th level and the 5th level still should be academic’s commitment (BAA) for the implementation. The author’s recommendations for the institution especially BAA TCU according to evaluation method are; First, for the 1st level is directing the urgency for filling out the UBPP’s form. For the 2nd level, creating questions in case study’s model. For 3rd level, adding comment column which has to be filled by respondent under chosen questions and run it by system so that respondent could not submit before filled it out. In order to obtain exact data, so do the survey not only to the top management but also on co-worker or subordinate trainee directly related to the employee.
