Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh menurunnya return saham pada perusahaan subsektor perkebunan tahun 2009-2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran profitabilitas yang diukur dengan menggunakan indikator Net Profit Margin (NPM) dan gambaran likuiditas yang diukur dengan menggunakan indikator Current Ratio (CR), dan return saham serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas (NPM) dan likuiditas (CR) terhadap return saham. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan desain penelitian kausal. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 8 sampel. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi klasik dan regresi linier berganda, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji keberartian regresi dan uji keberartian koefisien regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas yang diukur dengan Net Profit Margin (NPM) dan likuiditas yang diukur dengan Current Ratio (CR) memiliki keberartian terhadap return saham. Berdasarkan uji keberartian koefisien regresi, profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap return saham. Profitabilitas menunjukkan arah positif terhadap return saham. Likuiditas menunjukkan arah negatif terhadap return saham. ---------- Based on the research decreasing stock return in Plantation Subsector during the period of 2009-2013. The purpose of this research to figure out the description of profitability measured by using the indicator of Net Profit Margin (NPM) and the description of liquidity measured by using indicator of Current Rati (CR), as well as to figure out how the influence of profitability and liquidity towards stock return. The method used in this research are descriptive and verification method with clausal research design. Data used in this research is secondary data. The technique sampling use in this research is purposive sampling. In this research there is 8 sample. Technique of analysis which were used is the classical assumption test and multiple linear regression, and than the hypothesis test using regression significance test and regression coefficient significance test. The results of this research indicate that profitability measured by Net Profit Margin (NPM) and liquidity measured by the Current Ratio (CR) has significance to stock return. Based on the regression coefficient significance profitability has influence to the stock return. Profitability has positive influence to stock return.. Liquidity has negative influence to stock return.
