Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan menuntut siswa agar siap bekerja. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan proses pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang mereka untuk memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan sesuai kompetensinya. Salah satunya dengan penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbingyang dapat menumbuhkan keterampilan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan penerapan model pembelajaran konvensionaldan hasil belajar siswa dengan penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing dengan penerapan model pembelajaran konvensionalpada kompetensi penggunaan suhu tinggi dan suhu rendah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian quasy eksperiment dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 78 orang siswa kelas X TPHP yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelas terdiri dari 39 siswa di SMKN 1 Mundu. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari soal tes tertulis (pretest dan posttest), lembar evaluasi diri, lembar evaluasi antar siswa, lembar observasi, dan lembar penilaian praktikum. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah, 1) Model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional pada kompetensi dasar penggunaan suhu tinggi dan suhu rendah 2) Hasil belajar model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada ranah kognitif (tes tertulis) siswa yang telah mencapai nilai di atas KKM sebanyak 35 dari 39 orang siswa sehingga masuk kategori sangat baik. Dan hasil belajar model pembelajaran konvensional belum mencapai nilai di atas KKM. Hasil belajar pada ranah afektif (penilaian diri, penilaian antar siswa) masuk dalam kategori baik karena, sebagian besar konteks pencapaian kompetensi mencapai hasil di atas 75%, dan hasil belajar pada ranah psikomotor (lembar penilaian praktikum) masuk kategori baik karena, nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 89,5 maka seluruh siswa dikatakan kompeten karena telah memiliki seluruh aspek psikomotorik dalam kompetensi dasar penggunaan suhu tinggi dan suhu rendah ---------- The Vocational Schools demand the students prepared for the work. Therefore, it is required a learning process that could facilitate the students of knowledge and skills based on each competence. One of the methods is guided inquiry learning model application that could stimulate student's skills. This research aims to know guided inquiry learning model application compare with conventional learning model application and students study result with conventional learning model application and students study result with guided inquiry model application with conventional learning model application on high temperature and low temperature competence application. The research used method is quasy experiment research method with a sample of 78 X TPHP students divided into 2 classes consist of 39 students of 1 Mundu State Vocational School. The research instrument consist of writing paper test (pretest and posttest), self-evaluation paper, inter-students evaluation paper, observation paper, and practical work assessment paper. The results are, 1) Guided inquiry learning model is better than conventional learning model on basic competence of high temperature and low temperature using. 2) Guided inquiry learning model study result in cognitive aspect (writing test) showed 35 students exceeded above KKM score out of 39 students, which means it includes into very good category, while conventional learning model study result did not achive KKM score. The affective aspect study result (self-assessment, inter-students assessment) included into good category because most of competence achievement context was achieved above 75% and psycomotor study result (practical work assessment paper) reached good category because the average score is 89,5. So all of the students is considered competence because they had psycomotoric aspect on basic competence of high temperature and low temperature using.
