Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai pertumbuhan dan produksi umbi tanaman kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) di perkebunan yang mengandung logam berat kadmium (Cd). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pertumbuhan dan produksi umbi tanaman kentang pada tanah yang mengandung logam berat Cd di perkebunan kentang Pangalengan, Kabupaten Bandung. Parameter pertumbuhan yang diamati pada penelitian ini yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan jumlah batang sementara parameter produksi umbi yang diamati yaitu jumlah umbi, diameter umbi, berat umbi, dan kelas umbi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menentukan dua lokasi pengamatan yaitu lokasi atas dan bawah. Pengukuran parameter dilakukan saat umur tanam 4 minggu setelah tanam (MST) hingga panen dengan interval pengamatan dilakukan setiap dua minggu. Sampel pupuk, pestisida, tanah dan umbi dianalisis kandungan Cd nya dengan menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometery (AAS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tanaman kentang yang ditanam di lokasi yang memiliki kandungan logam Cd lebih tinggi memiliki kecenderungan pertumbuhan dan produksi umbi yang lebih rendah dibandingkan tanaman kentang yang ditanam di lokasi yang kandungan logam Cd nya lebih rendah. Umbi kentang yang dihasilkan di lokasi penelitian memiliki kandungan Cd saat panen berada pada kisaran 0,077-0,023 ppm. Berdasarkan peraturan SNI Nomor 7387 : 2009 umbi kentang masih berada dibawah ambang batas yang diperbolehkan yaitu 0,2 ppm. Kata kunci: Pertumbuhan, Produksi umbi, Solanum tuberosum, pupuk, pestisida, Cd Has done researched on the growth and productivity of potato plant (Solanum tuberosum L.) in the plantation containing heavy metal cadmium (Cd). The purpose of this study was to analyze the growth and productivity of potato plant on soils containing heavy metals Cd in Pangalengan potato plantations, Bandung regency. Growth parameters were observed in this study is plant height, number of leaf, and number of main stem while the observed productivity parameters which is the number of tubers, tuber diameter, tuber weight and tuber class. Research carried out by determining the location of the two sampling area, that is the top and bottom. Measurements of parameters is done when planting age 4 MST (Weeks After Planting) until harvest planted at intervals of the observation is made every two weeks. Samples of fertilizers, pesticides, soil and tubers were analyzed his Cd content using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometery (AAS). The results showed that the potato plants is planted in a location that has a content of Cd metal higher has a tendency growth rate and the rate of productivity is lower than potato plants is planted in locations which deposits of the Cd metal content Cd his lower. Potato tubers were produced at the study site having content of Cd at harvest was in the range from 0.077-0.023 ppm. According to the rules on SNI No. 7387: 2009 of potato tubers were allowed under the threshold of 0.2 ppm. Keywords: Growth, productivity, Solanum tuberosum, fertilizers, pesticides, Cd
