Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pergantian kurikulum baru yaitu Kurikulum 2013 yang mempunyai karakteristik berbasis teks. Kurikulum ini mengharuskan siswa mampu memahami dan memproduksiteksdenganbaik.Terkait dengan hal tersebut peneliti ingin mengetahui keefektifan teknik BBM (Berpikir-Berbicara-Menulis) yang diaplikasikan ke dalam pembelajaran menulis khususnya menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif.Peneliti menggunakan teknik BBM yaitu teknik pembelajaran yang mendorong siswa untuk berpikir, berani berbicara dalam menyampaikan pendapat dan menuangkan pendapatnya kedalam sebuah tulisan. Metodep enelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Berdasarkan penghitungan uji hipotesis dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% dan derajat kebebasan (dk) = 58 diperoleh hasil ttabel sebesar 2,0021danthitungsebesar 3,86. Hal ini berarti thitung(3,86)>ttabel(2,0021) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Hoditolak yang artinya, teknik BBM efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif. ---------- This research is motivated by the turn of the curriculum to Curriculum 2013, which has the text-based characteristics. This curriculum requires that students are able to understand and produce texts well. Related to this situation the researchers want to know the effectiveness of the think-talk-write (TTW) technique that applicated in study of writing descriptive reaction text.Researchers used a TTW technique,learning techniques that encourage students to think, dare to speak in his opinion expression and write into a text.Research method which is used in this research is quasi experiment methodwith design pretest-posttet control group design. According on the calculation hypothesis test with 95% confidence level and degrees of freedom (df) = 58 retrieved resultsttable 2,0021andtcount 3,86. This meanstcount(3,86)>ttable(2,0021) and it can be concluded that Ha accepted and Ho rejectedand that means, TTW techniqueis effective to be applicated in study of writing descriptive reaction text.
