    Abstract

    Program Latihan Profesi (PLP) bagi mahasiswa Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro, Fakultas Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, merupakan mata kuliah wajib pada semester 8. Dalam prakteknya perlu diketahui seberapa besar keberhasilan dari proses pendidikan mata kuliah ini. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa-siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 4, Bandung, terhadap pelaksanaan PLP yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektro terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Dari hasil studi ini didapatkan bahwa pelaksanaan PLP dan motivasi belajar sangat berhubungan. Siswa berpendapat bahwa pelaksanaan PLP memberikan dampak yang baik bagi motivasi belajar mereka, sehingga pelaksanaan PLP di SMKN 4 Bandung menjadi sangat bermanfaat.----------Program Latihan Profesi (PLP) for students of Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Indonesia University of Education, is an obligatory subject in the 8th semester. Practically, it has to be known the main achievements of this subject. This present study seeks to investigate the students’ of Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 4, Bandung, perceptions of PLP, which has done by students of Department of Electrical Engineering, toward their learning motivation. The finding shows that PLP and student’s learning motivation has a close relationship. Students argue that PLP gives a good impact on their learning motivation, so PLP in SMKN 4 Bandung becomes advantageous.
