Abstract
Pesisir Kecamatan Cipatujah merupakan wilayah yang berpotensi dilanda bencana tsunami karena memiliki kondisi geologis yang berhadapan langsung dengan zona tepian margin aktif tumbukan lempeng (subduksi). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) mengetahui tingkat ancaman tsunami 2) membuat pemodelan spasial untuk memprediksi tingkat ancaman tsunami dan 3) membuat pemodelan spasial ancaman tsunami terhadap penggunaan lahan di wilayah Kecamatan Cipatujah. Metode yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksploratif yang berdasarkan kepada pengukuran serta pengamatan dengan cara ground-check lapangan. Sampel wilayah didalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan teknik random sampling small scale dimana grid sebagai batasan area kajian, yang terdiri atas lima desa sampel yaitu Desa Ciheras, Ciandum, Cipatujah, Sindangkerta dan Cikawunggading. Analisis lanjutan dalam penelitian ini terbagi menjadi dua yaitu metode Analytical Hierarchy Process serta analisis Sistem Informasi Geografis untuk menghasilkan pemodelan spasial ancaman tsunami di Kecamatan Cipatujah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan indeks ancaman tsunami di Kecamatan Cipatujah bernilai 3,35 yang termasuk ke dalam kelas sedang terhadap potensi ancaman tsunami dengan wilayah terdampak seluas 25,399 km2 dimana kebun sebagai jenis penggunaan lahan yang terdampak tsunami terluas. Dengan demikian, diperlukan adanya kegiatan mitigasi bencana di Kecamatan Cipatujah.------------ Cipatujah coastal region is the region where has potential of the tsunami because it has geological conditions that face with active margin boundaries. The purpose of this research are to 1) identify of tsunami hazard level 2) to make spatial modelling of the tsunami hazard zone as a prediction in the near future and/or as a spatial estimation of the tsunami and 3) to make tsunami’s hazard spatial modelling on landuse-impacted in Cipatujah sub-district. The methods that applied in this research are the explorative methods which measuring and identifying based on field ground-check. The sample that applied in this research is the purposive sampling with a random sampling small scale method and grid of map as the border of research area, those are Ciheras, Ciandum, Cipatujah, Sindangkerta and Cikawunggading. Additional analysis in this research using an Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) in order to create a hazard indicators weight and the application of Geographic Information System (GIS) in order to create spatial modelling of tsunami in Cipatujah sub-district. Based on the result of this research, it found that the total of tsunami’s hazard index in Cipatujah sub-district is 3,35 which identified as a mid level for tsunami’s hazard potential where has impacting area for 25,399 km2 and the farmland as the largest impacted area. In order to mitigate of tsunami’s hazard in Cipatujah sub-district which identified as the mid level of the tsunami’s hazard, the disaster preparedness and mitigation activities in Cipatujah sub-district is needed.
