Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji teks pemberitaan mengenai kebijakan implementasi kurikulum 2013 dengan menggunakan pisau analisis wacana kritis. Polemik mengenai penerapan kurikulum 2013 memunculkan banyak persoalan dalam dunia pendidikan. Pemerintah dan masyarakat menampilkan gagasan masing-masing untuk menunjukkan dirinya dalam teks pemberitaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana media mengkonstruksikan sebuah pemberitaan apakah memiliki hubungan dan memihak pada kekuatan politik tertentu. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari fakta-fakta kebahasaan yang disajikan dalam teks. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan struktur teks pemberitaan dalam bentuk (1) representasi pemberitaan, (2) relasi dalam pemberitaan, (3) identitas yang terdapat dalam pemberitaan, dan (4) cara pandang/ideologi media dalam pemberitaan kebijakan implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada media online Merdeka.com dan Sindonews.com. Metode utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pisau analisis wacana kritis (Critical Discourse Analysis) dengan model analisis Norman Fairclough. Data diambil dari teks berita dalam media onlineMerdeka.com dan Sindonews.com. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa media online Merdeka.com dan Sindonews.com merepresentasikan pemberitaan mengenai kebijakan implementasi kurikulum 2013 secara berbeda. Merdeka.com merepresentasikan kurikulum 2013 yang diterapkan pemerintah sebagai sebuah kebijakan yangtidak berhasil. Representasi ini menghadirkan realitas pemerintah yang tidak sungguh-sungguh dalam menangani kurikulum 2013. Merdeka.com menampilkan ideologi yang membela kepentingan masyarakat dan cenderung tidak merespon baik atas kebijakan kurikulum 2013 yang dibuat pemerintah. Sementara dalam Sindonews.com implementasi kurikulum 2013 direpresentasikan dengan menunjukkan realitas bahwa pemerintah berhak dalam menerapkan kurikulum 2013 walaupun implementasinya menimbulkan tidak adanya prinsip pemerataan pendidikan karena kebijakan tersebut telah menghasilkan dikotomi pendidikan yang menyebabkan sekolah tertentu dapat menerapkan kurikulum 2013 dan beberapa sekolah tetap memakai kurikulum KTSP. Pemberitaan ini menimbulkan representasi pemerintah sebagai kaum elit yang dominan atau berkuasa dalam mengatur kebijakan kurikulum 2013, hal ini memperlihatkan terjadi struktur sosial yang timpang antara masyarakat dan pemerintah. Kata kunci: pendekatan analisis wacana kritis, representasi, implementasi kurikulum 2013 This research investigates about the text communication toward the principle of the implementation of 2013 curriculum by using the critical discourse analysis as a methodology. Polemic of the implementation 2013 curriculum shows some issues some problems related to education field. The government and society appear their own ideas in communication text.This research was conducted to analyze how the media construct the notifications that have a relationship and take sides toward the government fervency. That idea can be seen form the facts related to language in the text. This research described the structure of a text in communicating that included (1) the representation of communicating, (2) the relation of communication, (3) the identity that included in the communication, (4) the perspective /ideology the media in communicating the principle of the implementation 2013 curriculum on media online Merdeka.com and Sindonews.com. This research used the qualitative methodology with the critical discourse analysis (CDA) with the mode analysis Norman Fairclough. The data were taken from the text in a media online Merdeka.com and Sindonews.com. The results of this research explains that media online Merdeka.com and Sindonews.com present issues about the principle of the implementation 2013 curriculum that had been applied by the government as a principle that the results had been failed. This representation shows the reality of the government failed to take in hand the problems of curriculum 2013 implementation. Merdeka.com featuring ideology that defends the interests of society and tend not to respond well on curriculum policy in 2013 made by the government. While in Sindonews.com curriculum 2013 was delegated by showing the reality that government has the right to apply the 2013 curriculum even the real implementation make not only the distribution of educational principles but the principle give the results of educational dichotomy that the impacts for the school that could not apply the curriculum 2013 and some of school still apply curriculum KTSP. This communication shows the government representation as social elite that has the dominant rights and power in managing the policy of 2013 curriculum. Hence, this problem shows the imbalance social structure between the society and government.
