Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara anticipatory grief dengan hope dan social support pada orangtua dari anak dengan diagnosis Leukemia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mixed methods) yakni menerapkan kombinasi dua pendekatan sekaligus (kuantitatif dan kualitatif) dengan strategi triangulasi konkuren. Penentuan subjek pada penelitian menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel 23 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada metode kuantitatif adalah kuesioner yang terdiri dari tiga jenis skala, yaitu skala anticipatory grief, hope, dan social support, serta pada metode kualitatif peneliti menggunakan melakukan wawancara semi terstruktur. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara antcipatory grief dengan hope dan social support dapat memoderatori kedua variabel tersebut pada orangtua dari anak dengan diagnosis leukemia. Rekomendasi dalam penelitian ini bagi peneliti berikutnya disarankan untuk mengkaji berbagai faktor eksternal lainnya yang mempengaruhi anticipatory grief, seperti hubungan personal antar orangtua pasien, kemampuan finansial, dan kepribadian orangtua pasien. ---------- This aim of the study was to investigate correlation between anticipatory grief with hope and social support among parents of children with a diagnosis of leukemia. Mix method research employed both of quantitative and qualitative method with concurrent triangulation, used accidental sampling technique, with 23 subjects. Three different scales were used in this study, anticipatory grief scale, hope, and social support. And semi-structure interview was used to intake qualitative data. The result of the study revealed that there is a relationship between antcipatory grief with hope and social support was predicted moderate both of them. Recommendations in this study for the researcher to be was advised to examine various external factors would beeffect to anticipatory grief, such as personal relationships between parents of patients, financial ability, and personality of the patient's parents.
