Abstract

Karate adalah olahraga beladiri yang sangat kompleks, yang mana terdapat teknik tangkisan (uke), pukulan (tsuki), dan tendangan (geri). Tendangan Ushiro Geri harus dilakukan dengan cepat (speed) dan tepat (accuracy), agar tidak mudah ditangkis atau dihindarkan oleh lawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi panjang tungkai, fleksibilitas sendi panggul, dan keduanya secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil tendangan ushiro geri dalam karate. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet karate Pelatda INKANAS Jawa Barat dengan sampel sebanyak 12 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kontribusi yang diberikan panjang tungkai terhadap hasil tendangan ushiro geri sebesar 72.59%, fleksibilitas sendi panggul terhadap hasil tendangan ushiro geri sebesar 62.16%, sedangkan gabungan dari panjang tungkai dan fleksibilitas sendi panggul secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil tendangan ushiro geri sebesar 72.99%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah panjang tungkai dan fleksibilitas sendi panggul memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap hasil tendangan ushiro geri dalam karate. ---------- Karate is a martial sport that is very complex, which contained parry technique (uke), punch (tsuki), and kicks (geri). Kick Ushiro Geri must be done quickly (speed) and precise (accuracy), that are not easily deflected or avoided by an opponent. This study aims to determine how big the contribution of long legs, hip joint flexibility, and both jointly against Ushiro geri kick in karate. The population in this study is the karate athlete Pelatda INKANAS West Java with a sample of 12 people. The results showed that the contribution of a given length of the leg to kick Ushiro geri result of 72.59%, the flexibility of the hip joint to Ushiro geri kick by 62.16%, while the combination of limb length and flexibility of the hip joint together to kick Ushiro geri at 72.99 %. The conclusion from this study is the length of the leg and hip joint flexibility contributes significantly to the results of Ushiro geri kick in karate.
