Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. Permasalahan yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran seperti dalam merencanakan pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya motivasi kerja guru. Fokus kajiannya diarahkan pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru. Motivasi merupakan faktor yang diduga memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Oleh karena itu penelitian mengkaji dua variabel yaitu motivasi (variabel X) dan kinerja guru (variabel Y). Analisis mendalam dilakukan terhadap kedua variabel tersebut dengan variabel kontrol sertifikasi profesi guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kinerja dan motivasi guru baik yang sudah tersertifikasi maupun yang belum tersertifikasi, pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja guru, serta perbedaan motivasi kinerja guru yang sudah tersertifikasi dan yang belum tersertifikasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Responden adalah guru SMK Negeri 11 Bandung sebanyak 71 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) motivasi dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori tinggi; (2) motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kinerja guru baik belum tersertifikasi maupun yang sudah tersertifikasi; dan (3) terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan kinerja guru yang belum tersertifikasi dengan yang sudah tersertifikasi. ----------This research was conducted at The State Vocational High School 11 Bandung. The issue became a study in this research is the low performance of the teacher in the learning such as plan learning, implementing and evaluating learning caused by low motivation of teachers. Focus directed at factors that influenced the performance of teachers. Motivation is a factor that is thought to have influence on the performance of teachers. Therefore the study examines two variables, namely (variable X) motivation and performance of teachers (variable Y). In-depth analysis carried out against both of these variables with professional certification of teachers as variable control. The purpose of this research is to analyse level of performance and motivation of teachers either certified or who haven't been certified, the influence of motivation on performance of teachers, as well as the difference of performance motivation of teachers who have been certified and that has not been certified. Research methods used descriptive method. Data collection techniques used question form. The respondents were teachers of The State Vocational High School 11 Bandung as many as 70 people. Data analysis techniques used simple regression. The results showed that: (1) the motivation and performance of teachers are on a high category; (2) the positive effect of motivation towards good teacher performance level has not been certified or certified; and (3) there is a difference in motivation and performance of teachers who have not been certified by the certified.
