Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan tes pilihan ganda two-tier berbasis piktorial yang memenuhi kriteria validitas isi dan reliabilitas untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi gaya antarmolekul. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 40 siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah yang telah mempelajari materi gaya antarmolekul. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan dan validasi yang terdiri dari pengembangan tes, uji validitas dan reliabilitas tes, pembuatan kunci determinasi serta penggunaan tes dan analisis hasil penggunaan tes. Jumlah butir soal yang dikembangkan sebanyak delapan soal yang terdiri dari delapan label konsep. Berdasarkan uji validitas isi menggunakan metode CVR, semua soal memenuhi kriteria validitas isi. Berdasarkan uji reliabilitas, diperoleh nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,755, artinya termasuk dalam kategori dapat diterima. Berdasarkan analisis jawaban siswa yang didasarkan pada kunci determinasi diperoleh miskonsepsi yang mempunyai persentase terbesar pada setiap konsepnya, yaitu gaya antarmolekul terjadi karena adanya ikatan antara atom yang berbeda muatan di dalam molekul, gaya London hanya dapat terjadi karena adanya interaksi antarmolekul nonpolar, kekuatan ikatan hidrogen lebih besar dibandingkan kekuatan ikatan kovalen, pada proses pendidihan terjadi penguraian molekul menjadi atom-atom penyusunnnya, ikatan hidrogen tidak termasuk jenis gaya antarmolekul, ikatan hidrogen terjadi karena adanya ikatan antara atom H dengan atom O dan kenaikan titik didih senyawa hanya dipengaruhi oleh massa molekul ---------- The objective of this study was to develop pictorial based two-tier multiple choice test that was conform with criteria of content validity and reliability to identification students’ misconception about intermolecular forces. The participants of this study were 40 senior high school students’ who was learned subject intermolecular forces. The Method of this study was development and validation methods, envelop delineation of the purpose and scope of test, development test, validity and reliability test and assembly and evaluation of the test. Eight items was developed in this study. Based on the value of content validity ratio (CVR), all item were valid. The value of reliability of items were developed is 0,755, it means that items were acceptable. Based on analysis of students’ answer were based on a determination key could be found students’ misconceptions which have the biggest presentation in their concept, there is intermolecular forces are the bond within an atom which a different charge, London forces can only occur within a non-polar molecules, the strength of hydrogen bond is bigger than the strength of covalent bond, when the compound boils, the molecules decomposition is happen, hydrogen bond does not the type of intermolecular forces, hydrogen bond is the bond within H atom and O atom in the molecules. The result from this study obtained that the pictorial based two-tier multiple choice test can identifying more misconception than non-pictorial two-tier multiple choice test.
