Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnyadisiplin kerja guru di SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung.Hal tersebut ditandai dengan fluktuasi ketidakhadiran guru serta masih adanya kinerja guru yang dinilai belum maksimal yang disebabkan oleh belum optimalnyakepemimpinan kepala sekolah.Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah (X) dan disiplin kerja guru (Y). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai efektivitas gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, memperoleh gambaran mengenai tingkat disiplin kerja guru, dan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh darigaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin kerja guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksplanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara penyebaran angket dengan model skala likert, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Populasinya yaitu 45orang guru di SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier sederhana.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berada pada kategori cukup efektif dan disiplin kerja guru berada pada kategori tinggi. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh berpola linier. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap disiplin kerja guru di SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. Kata Kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Sekolah, Disiplin Kerja Guru An issue examined in this study is having not optimal work discipline of the teachers in Pasundan 3 Bandung vocational school. It is characterized by teacher absenteeism fluctuations and the persistence of teachers’ performance who rated yet maximally. It is caused by have not implemented head master leadership. This study consists of two variables: the headmaster transformational leadership style (X) and teachers discipline work (Y). The aim of this study is to obtain an overview of the effectiveness transformational leadership style of headmaster, get an illustration of teachers work discipline level, and to determine whether there is influence of transformational leadership style of the headmaster to teachers' work discipline. The method used in this research is explanatory survey method. Data collection techniques by distributing a questionnaire with Likert scale model, which analyzed using simple regression. The population is 45 teachers in Pasundan 3 Bandung vocational school. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression test. Based on the research results, obtained information that the transformational leadership style of the headmaster is in the category of quite effective and disciplined in the category of teachers working high. Furthermore, the data obtained linear patterned. From the results of hypothesis testing showed that transformational leadership style of the headmaster has positive effect on the teachers’ work disciplines of Pasundan 3 Bandung vocational school.
