Abstract

Sepeda motor adalah salah satu alat transportasi yang populer.Yamaha Bysonmerupakansalahsatu produk dariprodusensepeda motor yang termasukdalam lima besarprodusensepeda motor di Indonesia. Namunpadajenjangtahun 2013 - 2014 terjadipenurunanpenjualan yang sangatbesar, minat beli yang rendah adalah penyebab dari keadaan tersebut.Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmengetahuideskripsimengenaikualitasproduk, minatbeli sertabagaimanapengaruhkualitasprodukterhadapminatbelipadakonsumennya. Dalam penelitian ini mahasiswa FPEB UPI angkatan 2014 dijadikan sebagai populasi dengan sampel sebanyak 90 orang. Teknikpenarikansampel yang digunakanadalahNon Probability Samplingsedangkanteknikpemilihansampel yangdigunakanadalahInsidental Sampling. Metodepenelitian yang digunakanadalahdeskriptifdanverifikatif. Teknikanalisis data yang digunakanadalahanalisisregresisederhanaHasilpenelitianmenunjukanbahwakualitasprodukdanminatbelisepeda motor Yamaha Byson beradapadakategorisedang. Hasilperhitungankorelasimenunjukanadanyahubungandengantingkattinggiantarakualitasprodukdanminatbeli. Dengan demikian untuk meningkatkan minat beli, dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kualitas produk. Kata Kunci :KualitasProduk, Minat Beli, Yamaha Byson Motorcycle is one means of transportation which populer.YamahaByson is one product of the motorcycle manufacturers that are included in the five major motorcycle manufacturers in Indonesia. But at the level of the year 2013 - 2014 a decline in sales of very large, low purchase intentioni the cause of the situation. This study aims to find a description of the quality of the product, purchase intention well as how to influence the quality of the product on the consumer purchase intention. In this study, students FPEB UPI serve as the 2014 class of the population with a sample of 90 people. The sampling technique used is Non-Probability Sampling while the sample selection technique used is incidental sampling. The method used is descriptive and verificative. The data analysis technique used is a simple regression analysis results showed that the quality of the product and purchase intentionYamaha Byson motorcycle in middle category. Correlation calculation results showed an association with a high level between the quality of the product and purchase intention. Thus, to increase purchase intention, can be done by improving the quality of products. Keywords : Product Quality, Purchase Intention, Yamaha Byson
