Abstract

Tanaman glodokan (P. longifolia) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang disukai dan tempat tinggal bagi G.evemon. Tanaman ini banyak tersebar baik di sepanjang jalan raya maupun di komplek perkantoran. Sampai saat ini belum ada penelitian mengenai siklus hidup dan tabel hidup G.evemon pada tanaman glodokan. Penelitian ini diakukan dalam upaya pelestarian keberadaan jenis kupu-kupu sebagai salah satu serangga penyerbuk dan untuk mengetahui potensi biotik dari G. evemon. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui siklus hidup, potensi biotik dari G.evemon berdasarkan tabel hidup, dan morfologi tiap stadia G.evemon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rearing dengan subjek penelitian adalah 50 telur G. evemon. Dilakukan pencatatan terhadap lama waktu dan morfologi tiap stadia pradewasa G.evemon. Perhitungan pada tabel hidup didasarkan atas stadia perkembangan dan mortalitas masing-masing stadium perkembangan G. evemon. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata waktu siklus hidup G.evemon pada tanaman glodokan adalah 38,35 ± 1,62 hari. Kisaran lamanya hari yang diperlukan untuk satu siklus hidup G.evemon adalah 34-44. Morfologi tiap stadia memiliki ciri khas yang spesifik. Hasil data pada tabel hidup menunjukkan bahwa nilai harapan hidup lebih besar dari angka laju kematian yaitu untuk telur 7,18 > 0,00; larva instar I 6,18 > 0,12; larva instar II 6,00 > 0,023; larva instar III 5,08 > 0,00; larva instar IV 4,08 > 0,093; larva instar V 3,45 > 0,00; pupa 1,45 > 0,051. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa G.evemon memiliki potensi berkembangbiak yang positif. Simpulan, G.evemon memiliki kecenderungan populasi meningkat pada setiap generasi. Kata kunci: G.evemon, P.longifolia, Siklus Hidup, Tabel Hidup, Morfologi Glodokan plants (P. longifolia) is one of the preferred crops and shelter for G.evemon. This plant is widely spread both along the highway and in the office area. Until now there is no research on the life cycle and life table of the G.evemon in the glodokan plants. However the need of this information is important to preserve the existence of a butterfly as one of pollinating insects to determine the biotic potential of the G. evemon. The purposes of this study are to describe about life cycle and biotic potential of G.evemon based on life tables and morphology of each stage of G.evemon. This study uses rearing method and the subject of the study are 50 eggs G. evemon. The length of time and morphology of each pre-adult stages of the G.evemon was recorded. The calculations in the table are based on the life stage of the development and mortality of each stage of the development of G. evemon. The results showed that the average time of the G.evemon life cycle on glodokan plants was 38.35 ± 1.62 days. The morphology of each stage has a specific characteristic. The results of the data in the table shows that the value of life expectancy greater than the rate of mortality for eggs 7,18> 0,00; instar larvae I 6, 18> 0,12; instar larvae II 6,00> 0,023; instar larvae III 5,08> 0,00; instar larvae IV 4,08> 0,093; instar larvae V 3,45> 0,00; pupa 1,45> 0,051. This result indicates that the G.evemon has the positive potential to proliferate. In conclusion, the G.evemon has a tendency to increase the population in every generation.
