Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. Permasalahan yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya disiplin kerja guru. Hal ini ditandai dengan rendahnya kehadiran serta kedisiplinan waktu jam masuk dan jam pulang kerja yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya disiplin kerja guru. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu gaya kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah (X) dan disiplin kerja guru (Y). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran efektivitas gaya kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah, untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat disiplin kerja guru, untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari gaya kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin kerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 60 guru di SMK Negeri 11 Bandung . Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh informasi bahwa gaya kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah berada pada kategori rendah dan disiplin kerja guru berada pada kategori rendah. Uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja guru di SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. Kata kunci : Gaya Kepemimpinan Situasional Kepala Sekolah, Disiplin Kerja Guru This research was conducted at SMK N 11 Bandung. The problem being discussed on this research is the teachers’ substandard discipline. This is marked by the low number of attendance, office and after hour discipline caused by teachers’ working discipline. This research comprises of two variables, there are situational leadership style from the school principal (X) and teachers’ working discipline (Y). The aims of this study is to know the effectivity of situational leadership style from the school principal, to discover teachers’ level of working discipline, to find out how much situational leadership style from the school principal give influences towards teachers’ working discipline. This research employed a descriptive and verficative method. There are 60 teachers at SMK N 11 Bandung as the population of the study. The data analysis that is used in this study is simple regression analysis. Based on the research results, obtained information that situational leadership style of the principal is at the low category and discipline of teachers are in the low category. Hyphothesis test clearly showed that situational leadership style of the school principal contribute significantly towards teachers’ working discipline at SMKN 11 Bandung.
