    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan masih rendahnya penguasaan konsep dan sikap dalam pembelajaran bryophyta. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan sikap siswa dengan model siklus belajar 5E bermuatan nilai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah weak experiment dengan desain the one group pretest posttest desain. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA XII Kartika Kota Bandung, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes dan non tes yakni penguasaan konsep pilihan ganda, angket sikap, lembar observasi, wawancara serta angket siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran siklus belajar 5E, terjadi peningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa dengan N-Gain pada kategori sedang yakni dengan N-Gain 0,5. Hasil uji-t dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 22 menunjukkan bahwa tes akhir lebih besar dan berbeda signifikan dari tes awal dengan taraf signifikansi 0,00<0,005. Model ini dapat meningkatkan sikap siswa dengan semua variabel berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji korelasi antara penguasaan konsep dan sikap siswa menunjukkan adanya korelasi namun pada kategori lemah. Hasil keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran kurang baik namun masih memiliki pengaruh terhadap pengusaan konsep dan sikap siswa. Hasil wawancara terhadap guru dan siswa menunjukkan hal yang positif yakni menyenangi model pembelajaran bermuatan nilai. Hasil wawancara kepada orang tua siswa juga menunjukkan hal yang positif, yakni adanya perubahan pada sikap siswa.

    This study was motivated by the issueofstudent’s low mastery of concepts and attitudes in the learning of Bryophyta. The study was conducted to assess the improvement of students' mastery of concepts and attitudes by using 5E learning cycle model with value-added. Weak experiment with one group pretest-posttest design was used in this studi. The population was all students of class X SMA XII Kartika Bandung, the sample is determined by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used consisted of test and non-test the mastery of the concept of multiple choice, attitude questionnaires, observation sheets, interview and student's questionnaire . The results showed thatthe implementation of learning cycle 5E can increasestudent’s mastery of concepts N-gain score 0.5in medium category. Results of t-test using SPSS version 22 indicates that the ultimate test is greater and significantly different from initial tests with a significance level of 0.00 <0.005. This model can improve students' attitude on all the variables in middle category. The result of the correlation between students' mastery of concepts and attitudes show a correlation, but in the weak category. The results of the learning process is less good but still has an influence on concepts and attitudes. The results of interviews with teachers and students showed a positive thing that they enjoyed learning with value-added models. Results of interviews with parents of students also showed a positive response, namely a change in the attitudes of students.
