Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yangmempengaruhi penyebab menurunnya minat siswa mengikuti pembelajaran squash.Metode penelitian dilakukan menggunakan studi deskriptif terhadap 30 orang siswa di Sekolah Squash Bastaman Lodaya. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Squash Bastaman Lodaya. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu “Sampling jenuh”. Seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang bersifat tertutup.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah mencari rata-rata dari setiap variabel data kemudian menghitung rata-rata persentase. Hasil penelitiannyayaitu Faktor-faktor penyebab menurunnya minat siswa mengikuti pembelajaran squash di Sekolah Squash Bastaman Lodaya adalah faktor internal dengan persentase 79%, dari indikator kenginan 76.6%, dari indikator perhatian 75.3% dan indikatorkegairahan siswa yang menurun ketika mengikuti pembelajaran squashdengan persentase 84%. Adapun penyebab menurunnya minat siswa dari faktor eksternaldengan persentase 72%, dari indikator pengurus 74%, dari indikator pelatih 80.5%, program pembelajaran 77.1%, dari indikator sarana prasarana 55.3%, dan dari indikator orang tua dengan persentase 75.4%. Kata kunci: Minat belajar, Pembelajaran, Squash. This study aimed to learned factors causing the depletion in student’s interest towards learning squash. The research method is done using descriptive study on 30 student’s athletes in Bastaman Lodaya Squash School. The study population are the student’s athletes of Bastaman Lodaya Squash School. The technique used for sampling is sampling jenuh. The instrument used to collect the samples is confidential questionnaire. Analyzing the average of every variable data, and then calculating is average percentage. The research show that factors causing the depletion in student’s interest in learning squash at Bastaman Lodaya Squash School are internal factors is the percentage of 79%, 76.6% of the indicators desires, 75.3% of the indicators of attention and exicitement indicators decreases when student’s are learning to follow the squash with a percentage of 84%. As for the causes of declining interest of students from the external factor with the percentage of 72%, of the indicator board 74%, from 80.5% indicator coach, learning programs 77.1%, from 55.3% of infrastructure indicators of parents with percentage of 75.4%.
