Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis potensi longsor dan kerentanan bencana longsor di Kecamatan Sukahening Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksploratif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh wilayah Kecamatan Sukahening. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Variabel penelitian ini pertama, potensi longsor dengan indikator meliputi faktor iklim, tanah, geologi, lereng, dan penggunaan lahan. Variabel kedua, kerentanan bencana longsor dengan indikator meliputi kerentanan sosial, kerentanan ekonomi, kerentanan fisik infrastruktur, dan kerentanan lingkungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga klasifikasi daerah potensi longsor di Kecamatan Sukahening, yaitu daerah dengan potensi longsor rendah seluas 12%, potensi longsor sedang seluas 32%, dan potensi longsor tinggi 56%. Adapun tingkat kerentanan bencana longsor di Kecamatan Sukahening terbagi ke dalam dua klasifikasi, yaitu daerah tingkat kerentanan sedang seluas 14% dan daerah tingkat kerentanan tinggi seluas 86% yang tersebar di seluruh desa yang berada di Kecamatan Sukahening. Tingkat kerentanan yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan risiko bencana yang tinggi pula. Untuk mengurangi risiko bencana yang tinggi, perlu dilakukan upaya mitigasi bencana yaitu dengan memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang bencana longsor dan melakukan konservasi pada daerah potensi longsor sebagai salah satu tindakan pencegahan bencana longsor. Kata Kunci: Longsor, Kerentanan, Risiko Bencana This research have a purpose to analyze landslide potential and to analyze which area that is classified as the vulnerable area against landslide disaster that always happening in Sukahening at Tasikmalaya district. The research used explorative method. The population is the whole region of Sukahening. Sampling used saturated sample. This research has two variables. First, is the landslide potential with indicators covering climate factors, soil, geology, slope, and land use. The second variable is the landslide disaster vulnerability with indicators covering social vulnerability, economic vulnerability, physical construction vulnerability, and the environment vulnerability. This research show potential of landslide in Sukahening has three classification, there are areas with low landslide potential of 12%, medium of 32% and high of 56%. Vulnerability of landslide disaster in Sukahening has two clasification, there are areas with medium vulnerability of 14% and areas with high vulnerability of 86%. The high level of vulnerability can causing the high risk of disaster. To reduce the risk of disasters, the mitigation measures need to be done such as it gives understanding to the public about the landslide and conservation on regions potential landslide as one of the prevention measures of landslide disaster.
