Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa, padahal kemampuan koneksi matematis sangat penting dimiliki oleh siswa dalam belajar matematika karena matematika merupakan ilmu yang terstruktur dan terorganisir yang memiliki keterkaitan antara satu konsep dengan konsep yang lainnya. Selain aspek kognitif, aspek apektif seperti kecemasan matematis juga akan mempengaruhi siswa dalam pencapaian hasil belajar matematika. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis dan menurunkan kecemasan matematis siswa. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah memilih dan menggunakan model-model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis dan menurunkan kecemasan matematis siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis dan kecemasan matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP yang berada di Lembang. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sekelompok siswa dalam satu kelas. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimental Designs dengan rancangan One-Group Pretes-Posttest Designs. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari instrumen tes kemampuan koneksi matematis berupa soal pretes dan postes, angket kecemasan matematis, dan lembar observasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini model penemuan terbimbing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis dan kecemasan matematis siswa. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Penemuan Terbimbing, Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis, Kecemasan Matematis Siswa This research is motivated by the lack of mathematical connections of students, whereas mathematical connections is very important to student in learning mathematics, beacause mathematics is a science that is structured and organized to have a relationship between one concept to another. In addition to cognitive, affective aspects like mathematical anxiety will also affect the learning achievement of students in mathematics. Therefore, it is necessary to improve mathematical connections and lowers students' mathematical anxiety. One effort that can be done is to choose and use teaching models that can improve mathematical connections and lowers students' mathematical anxiety. The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of guided discovery learning to mathematical connection and mathematical anxiety of students. The population in this research is the seventh grade students at one junior high school in Lembang. Samples in this research was a group of students in a class. The research method used is Pre-Experimental Design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Designs. The instrument used in this research consisted of test instruments such as pretest and posttest, mathematical anxiety questionnaire and observation sheet. The conclusion from this research is guided discovery learning affect to mathematical connections and the students' mathematical anxiety.
