Abstract

Siswa Sekolah Menengah kejuruan (SMK) disiapkan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjadi tenaga profesional. Tetapi tidak semua siswa SMK siap untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Oleh karena itu sekolah berupaya mengembangkan kemampuan siswa pada kegiatan unit produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Keikutsertaan siswa THP dalam unit produksi; 2) Kesiapan kerja siswa THP dibidang Agroindustri 3) pengaruh keikutsertaan siswa dalam unit produksi terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa THP di bidang Agroindustri; 4) besar pengaruh keikutsertaan siswa dalm unit produksi terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa THP di bidang Agroindustri. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif analisis regresi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa THP SMK Negeri 1 Kuningan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: 1) keikutsertaan siswa dalam unit produksi dan kesiapan kerja siswa berada pada kategori tinggi; 2) Adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara keikutsertaan siswa terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa THP di bidang Agroindustri; 3) Koefisien regresi yang dihasilkan adalah 0,741 (tinggi atau kuat); 4) Kontribusi keikutsertaan siswa dalam unit produksi terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa sebesar 54,9% (cukup tinggi). Hasil penelitian mendukung implikasi jika semakin tinggi keikutsertaan siswa dalam unit produksi maka akan semakin tinggi pula kesiapan kerja siswa. Kata Kunci: Unit Produksi, Kesiapan Kerja The students of vocational high school (SMK) is prepared to enter the real job and become the professional employee. But, some of the students of SMK are heve not ready. Therefore students skills was developed in production organization. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The participation of the students of THP in a production organization; 2) The work readiness of the students of THP in Agroindustry; 3) the influence of student participation in the production organization on the work readiness of the students of THP in Agroindustry; 4) some of the influence of student participation in the production organization on the work readiness of the students of THP in Agroindustry. The research method used is descriptive regression analysis with quantitative. The population of this research were students of XII classes of THP SMKN 1 Kuningan.The sampling technuiqes was probability sampling.The research data were collected using observation, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed: 1) the participation of students in the production organization and work readiness of students at the high category; 2) The influence of positive and significant between student participation on the work readiness of the students of THP in Agroindustry; 3) The regression coefficient is 0.741 (high or strong); 4) The contributions participation of students in the production organiation to the work readiness of students of 54.9% (enough). Implications of the research results support if the higher participation of students in the production organization, the higher the work readiness of students.
