Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa sekolah dasar melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Interactive Lecture Demonstration (ILD) berbantuan media real dan virtual pada materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) pada materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia sebagai efek diterapkannya model Interactive Lecture Demonstration (ILD) berbantuan media real dan virtual apabila dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model biasa (tradisional). Metode penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Ekuivalen Pretest dan Posttest Control Group Design. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di salah satu Sekolah Dasar di Kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2014-2015 yang terdiri dari satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol masing-masing berjumlah 20 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tipe pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari tes penguasaan konsep dan tes keterampilan proses sains siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian, diperoleh: (1) persentase skor rerata N-gain untuk tes penguasaan konsep untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 32,6% (kategori sedang), dan persentase skor rerata N-gain untuk tes penguasaan konsep untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 18,5% (kategori rendah), (2) persentase skor rerata N-gain untuk tes keterampilan proses sains siswa untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 40,2% (kategori sedang), dan persentase skor rerata N-gain untuk tes keterampilan proses sains siswa untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 7,9% (kategori rendah). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Interactive Lecture Demonstration (ILD) berbantuan media real dan virtual dapat lebih meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa sekolah dasar pada materi Sistem Peredaran Darah pada Manusia dibandingkan dengan penerapan pembelajaran dengan model biasa (tradisional). It has done the research on increasing mastery concept and science process skills of elementary students through applying Interactive Lecture Demonstration (ILD) learning model assisted real and virtual media at the theory of Human Circulatory System. The aim of this research is to get a picture about increasing mastery concept and Science Process Skills (SPS) at the theory of Human Circulatory System as the applied effects of Interactive Lecture Demonstration (ILD) model assisted real and virtual media when compared with students who get regular learning models (traditional). The research method is quasi-experimental with Equivalent pretest and posttest Control Group Design. The subject of this research is all students class V at one of elementary school in Bandung city period 2014-2015 that consists of one class of experiment and one class control, each of them is 20 students. The used instruments in this research are multiple choice consisted of mastering concept test and student science process skills test. Based on the result of data analysis, found: (1) the N-gain average score percentage for mastering concept test in experiment class is 32,6% (middle category), and the N-gain average score percentage for mastering concept test for control class is 18,5% (low category), (2) the N-gain average score percentage on students science process skills test for experiment class is 40,2% (middle category), and the N-gain average score percentage on students science process skills test for control class is 7,9% (low category). It can be concluded that the applying Interactive Lecture Demonstration (ILD) model assisted real and virtual media can be more increasing in mastering concept and science process skills of elementary students at the theory of Human Circulatory System compared to the application of learning with regular models (traditional).
