Abstract

Kota merupakan suatu tempat yang strategis dan terdapat berbagai fasilitas seperti sarana dan prasarana yang dapat menunjang aktivitas penduduk. Ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana transportasi di suatu kota sangat penting untuk mendukung aktivitas manusia sehari-hari, melihat kebutuhan manusia yang semakin kompleks sehingga mendorong tingginya aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh manusia itu sendiri dan berdampak timbulnya berbagai masalah. Sebagai salah satu solusi pemecah masalah transportasi di perkotaan, pada tahun 2010 Pemerintah Kota Bandung membuat prasarana transportasi berupa jalur sepeda dengan tipe jalur yaitu tipe B dan tipe C di beberapa lokasi. Keberagaman karakteristik masyarakat di Kota Bandung mengisyaratkan akan keberadaan prasarana transportasi yang memadai dan dapat sesuai dengan kebutuhan para pengguna sepeda. Selain itu, respon masyarakat terhadap keberadaan prasarana transportasi jalur sepeda dan kesiapan masyarakat untuk menggunakan moda transportasi sepeda ini membutuhkan kajian untuk mendukung perkembangan pertransportasian di perkotaan. Hal inilah yang mendorong penulis untuk mengkaji keberadaan jalur sepeda di Kota Bandung sebagai prasarana transportasi dan rekreasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriktif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh wilayah Kota Bandung. Untuk sampel wilayahnya yaitu di Sub Wilayah Kota (SWK) Cibeunying yang meliputi enam kecamatan, yaitu Coblong, Cidadap, Bandung Wetan, Sumur Bandung, Cibeunying Kaler dan Cibeunying Kidul. Sampel responden terdiri dari 49 orang responden penduduk dengan tekhnik proporsional sampling, dan 30 orang responden pengguna sepeda yang sedang berada di jalur sepeda dengan tekhnik aksidental. Tekhnik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket, studi literatur, dan studi dokumentasi. Tekhnik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriftif dan teknik analisis persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kebutuhan pengguna sepeda di Kota Bandung hampir setengahnya terpenuhi, respon masyarakat terhadap keberadaan jalur sepeda sebagian besar mendukung dan sebagian kecil masyarakat di Kota Bandung siap untuk menggunakan moda transportasi sepeda. As one solution to the problem solver in urban transport, in 2010 the Government of Bandung making transportation infrastructure such as bike lanes with the type of track that is type B and type C in some locations. The diversity of the characteristics of people in Bandung hinted at the existence of adequate transport infrastructure and can match the needs of bicycle users. In addition, the public response to the presence of transport infrastructure bike paths and community readiness to use bicycle transport modes requires a study to support the development of urban pertransportasian. This has led the authors to examine the existence of bike lanes in the city of Bandung as transportation and recreation. The method used is a method deskriktif. The population in this study is the whole area of Bandung. To sample the region, namely in the Sub Region City (SWK) Cibeunying which includes six districts, namely Coblong, Cidadap, Bandung Wetan, Bandung Well, Cibeunying Kaler and Cibeunying Kidul. Sample of respondents consisted of 49 respondents population with proportionate sampling techniques, and 30 respondents cyclists who are on the bike path with accidental techniques. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature, and documentation study. Techniques of data analysis using descriptive analysis techniques and analysis techniques percentage. These results indicate that the user needs a bicycle in the city of Bandung almost half met, the public response to the presence of bike lanes most of the public supports and the small portion in Bandung ready to use bicycle transport modes.
