Abstract
KawasanSitus Astana GedeKawalimerupakansalahsatuobjekdayatarikwisatabudaya yang ada di KabupatenCiamis.KeberadaanyadilindungiUndang-UndangNomor 11 Tahun 2010 dandalampelaksanaanperlindungannyatersebut, kegiatankepariwisataan di Situs Astana GedeKawalidibatasidalamhalpembangunanfasilitasfisik yang bertujuanuntukmenunjangnyakegiatankepariwisataan di situstersebut. Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmemberikansolusidanarahanpembangunanfasilitasfisikpenunjangkepariwisataan di Situs Astana GedeKawali agar kegiatankepariwisataannyabisaberkembangnamuntetapbisamenjagakelestariandankeasliankawasansitus.Penelitianinimenggunakanmetodedeskriptifkualitatif yang artinyapenelitimendeskripsikantemuanatauhasilobservasi di lapangankemudiandiperkuatdenganstudipustakadanwawancarakepadapihak-pihakatau orang yang berkompetendalambidangnyamasing-masing yang mendukungdalampemecahanmasalahdalampengembanganfasilitasfisik di kawasanSitus Astana GedeKawaliinisehinggamenghasilkanprodukpenelitian yang realistisdanlayakuntukdirealisasikan. KonsepzonasidalampenelitianinimerujukpadateoriInskeepdalamPedomanFasilitatoruntuk Pembangunan Ekowisata (2013) yang menjelaskantentangkonsepzonasidanpenjelasan-penjelasanmenggnaipeletakanfasilitas-fasilitaswisataberdasarkanperuntukannyadanzonasinya.Konsepiniterbagimenjaditigazona, yaitu: zonainti, zonapenyangga, danzonapelayanan. Dimanapadazonaintiadalahkawasansitus yang harusdijagakeasliandankelestariannya, zonapenyanggaadalahpembatasanatarzonapelayanandanzonaintidalamhaliniadalahlahanparkir, danzonapelayanan yang masihberupalahankosongdanmasihharusdilakukanpengembangan.Konsepzonasiinimenjadisolusi yang tepatuntukmengembangkanfasilitasfisikkepariwisataan di Situs Astana GedeKawalisekaligusbisamenjagakelestariandankeasliankawasansitus. Kata kunci: Konsepzonasi,Pengembangan fasilitasfisik Situs Astana Gede Kawali, wisatabudaya. The region of Astana Gede Kawali is the object of cultural attractions in the Ciamis district. The existence regulated by Undang-UndangNomor 11 Tahun 2010and the implementation of protections, tourism activities in Astana Gede Kawali situs is limited in terms of the construction of physical facilities that aim to support tourism activities on the site. This aims of this study is to provide a solution and direction of development of physical facilities supporting tourism in Astana Gede Kawali situs that can develop tourism activities but still to preserve and authenticity of the site area. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, which means researchers describe findings or results of observations in the field and then reinforced with literature and interviews to the respondent or people who are competent in their respective fields that support in solving problems in the development of physical facilities in the region Astana Gede Situs Kawali as produce research that is realistic and feasible to be realized. The concept of zoning in this study refers to the theory Inskeep in the Facilitator Guidelines for Ecotourism Development (2013), which describes the concept of zoning and explanations ofplacement tourist facilities based on designation and zoning. This concept is divided into three zones, namely: a core zone, a buffer zone, and the zone services. Where the core zone is the area that the site should be kept authenticity and sustainability, the buffer zone is a limiting advance of the service zone and the core zone in this case is a parking lot, and service zones that are still vacant land and development remains to be done. This zoning concept should be the perfect solution to develop the physical facilities of tourism in Astana Gede Kawali situsthat can preserve and authenticity of the situs area.
