Abstract

Masalah yang menjadi kajian dari penelitian ini adalah mengenai rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa. Inti kajian dalam pembahasan ini difokuskan pada salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa, yaitu ikim sekolah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauhmana pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dua variabel yaitu iklim sekolah (X) dan motivasi belajar siswa (Y). Iklim sekolah diukur melalui dimensi safety(keamanan), teaching and learning(pembelajaran), interpersonal relationships(hubungan interpersonal), dan intstitutional environment(lngkungan institutional). Motivasi belajar siswa diukur melalui dimensi internal dan eksternal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskripif danasosiatif.Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 19 orang guru, 7 orang staff dan 57 orang siswa.Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket tertutup skala lima kategori Likert dengan analisis data regresi. Secara garis besar, keadaan iklim sekolah di SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut termasuk kategori baik. Kondisi ini perlu dipertahankan oleh sekolah. Keadaan motivasi belajar siswa di SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut termasuk kategori sedang.Artinya, sekolah harus memperhatikan dan mengupayakan agar motivasi belajar siswa bisa terus ditingkatkan sehingga lebih tinggi sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan. ---------- Issues of this research is low student motivation. The core study focused on one of the factors that influence student motivation is climate school. Accordingly, the subject matter disclosed in this study is how far the School Climate on student motivation. This study consisted of two variables: School Climate (X) and student motivation (Y). School climate is measured by dimensions of Safety (security), Teaching and learning (learning), Interpersonal relationships (interpersonal relationships), and Institutional environment. Students' motivation is measured through internal and external dimensions. The method used in this research is descriptive Associative method. Sample of study consisted of 19 professors, 7 person staff and 57 students. Data collection was performed by using the enclosed questionnaire Likert scale with five categories and analysed by regression analysis. The climate schools of SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut be included good categories. This condition needs to be maintained by the school. The state of students' motivation in vocational Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut be included medium category. Thus, the school must gave attention and ensure that students' learning motivation can be improved so as to achieved high student motivation in accordance with the purpose of education.
