Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Kontribusi Persepsi Pegawai Mengenai Penataan Ruang Kantor Terhadap Kenyamanan Kerja Pegawai di Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Geologi Bandung. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini yaitu menyangkut kondisi penataan ruang kantor di mana ketika ada penempatan perabot dan dokumen yang tidak pada tempatnya dan ketika dibutuhkan tidak terdapat pada tempat yang seharusnya yang dapat menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan kerja pegawai yang berada pada ruang kantor tersebut. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memperoleh gambaran yang jelas mengenai persepsi pegawai mengenai penataan ruang kantor terhadap kenyamanan kerja pegawai di Pusdiklat Geologi Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket tertutup. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 84 orang pegawai di Pusdiklat Geologi Bandung dan untuk sampel diambil menggunakan total sampling atau seluruh jumlah populasi. Analisis perhitungan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan program Microsoft Excel 2007 dan SPSS for windows versi 20,0.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan rumus Weight Means Score (WMS), gambaran umum variabel X (Persepsi Pegawai Mengenai Penataan Ruang Kantor) berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 4,28. Sementara gambaran umum variabel Y (Kenyamanan Kerja Pegawai) berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata 4,42. Korelasi variabel X dan Y memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,486 yang ada pada kategori cukup kuat dan signifikan. Dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 33,5% serta hasil analisis regresi yaitu Y ̂ = 41.235 + 0,186Xyang bersifat signifikan dan linier.Kesimpulan penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penataan ruang kantor berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kenyamanan kerja pegawai di Pusdiklat Geologi Bandung. Adapun rekomendasi dari peneliti kepada pihak lembaga yaitu diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengawasan berkala untuk meninjau ruangan-ruangan kantor selama tidak mengganggu pelaksanaan pekerjaan kantor sehingga pegawai merasa diperhatikan dan tingkat kenyamanan kerja pun bertambah. Selain itu hendaknya pegawai mempunyai keberanian membicarakan kepada pimpinan apabila munculnya ketidak nyamanan dalam bekerja karena bagaimanapun pimpinan mempunyai tanggung jawab dalam kantor terutama dalam hal penataan ruang kantornya dan pegawai hendaknya dapat menjaga penataan ruang kantornya terutama di lingkungan dia bekerja. Kata kunci: Persepsi Pegawai,Penataan ruang kantor, Kenyamanan kerja This study entitled "Contributions of Employees’ Perceptions Regarding Office Spatial Planning toward Employees’ Work Leisure at Geology Education and Training Centre in Bandung. The problems discussed in this research related to the office spatial planning conditions when there were furniture and documents placement which were not placed in proper place and not found in its proper place when it is required which caused discomfort to the employee who was in the office. Generally, this research aims to identify and obtain a clear picture of employee perceptions regarding the office spatial planning for the convenience of employees working in the Geology Training Center of Bandung. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. Data collected by using a close questionnaire. The population in this study were 84 employees in Geology Training Center Bandung and samples were taken using total sampling or the entire amount of the population. The calculation was analyzed by using Microsoft Excel 2007 program and SPSS for Windowsversion 20.0. Based on the calculation using Weight Means Score (WMS) formula, an overview of variable X (Employee Perceptions Regarding the Office Spatial Planning) are in the very good category with an average score of 4.28. Meanwhile, the general description ofvariable Y (Employee Work Leisure) is in the very good category with an average score of 4.42. Correlation between variables X and Y have a significant relationship. It can be seen from the correlation coefficient, 0.486 which is in the category of fairly strong and significant. With a coefficient determination 33.5% as well as the results of the regression analysis is Y = 41 235 + 0,186X that are significant and linear. The conclusion of this study stated that office spatial planning significantly influence employee convenience in Geology Training Center of Bandung. The researcher recommendation to the institution is to increase supervision periodically to supervise office room as long as it does not interfere during office work so that employees feel observed and working comfort level is greatly increased. In addition employees should have the courage to talk to the leader when the emergence of discomfort in the work because leaders have a responsibility in the office, especially in terms of office spatial planning and the employees should be able to maintain the arrangement of office space, especially in the environment they work.
