Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh sistem belajar konvesional di sekolah yang makin diyakini sebagai sistem yang sudah tidak efektif lagi. Berbagai konsep yang menyangkut kemampuan otak, kecerdasan, dan kreativitas, berkembang makin jauh, dan makin menguatkan argumentasi yang ingin mengoreksi kelemahan sistem belajar yang selama ini berlaku secara konvensional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran profesionalisme guru PKn dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran work-based learning di SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yaitu studi kasus di SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan wawancara, observasi dan penelusuran dokumen bahwa pelaksanaan profesionalisme guru PKn di SMK Negeri 8 Bandung dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran work-based learning sudah berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan matrik kompetensi guru, walaupun dalam praktiknya masih terdapat hambatan-hambatan terutama dalam proses hasil belajar berupa lulusan yang terserap di DU/DI masih rendah jumlahnya. Solusi yang dilakukan Guru PKn dalam mengembangkan work-based learning ini yaitu dengan meningkatkan proses pembelajaran pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kompetensi peserta didik dengan cara menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter budaya bangsa. Mengingat pentingnya profesionalisme guru PKn dalam mengembangkan model ini, disarankan kepada kepala sekolah, para guru dan peserta didik di lingkungan SMK Negeri 8 Bandung untuk bekerja sama sebagai pemegang kepentingan untuk mendukung pembelajaran dengan model berbasis kerja sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas tamatan yang terampil, cerdas, dan kompeten. Bagi Prodi PKn pasca sarjana pembelajaran work- based learning dari segi substansi, merupakan program bidang keahlian yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum berperspektif multi fungs Kata Kunci: Profesionalisme guru PKn, Pengembangan model work-based learning The background of this research is that the conventional system learning in the school is not efective anymore. Some varoius concept in brain capability, intelligence and creativity are growing rapidly, and enforce the argumentation which want to correct the weakness of the learning system that is applied conventionally up utill now. The purpose of the research is to know the outlook professionalism of civic education teacher’s in the development of work-based learning in SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. The research method is done by using qualitative reasearch method, that is the case study in SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. The research results are according to the interview, observation, and investigation to the documents that the implementation the professionalism of civic education teacher’s professionalism in the development of work-based learning in SMK Negeri 8 Bandung has run well appropriate with the matrix teacher’s competency, although in the application there are still some resistances especially in the process of the learning result such as the graduations who are absorbed in the industry still not much. The solution that is done by Civic Education teacher to develop work-based learning is ti improve the learning process of knowledge, skill and student’s competency with engraft the values of nation culture character. Considering the importance of Civic Education teacher’s professionalism to develop this model, it is suggest to The headmaster, all teachers, and all students in SMK Negeri 8 Bandung tha held the interest to support the work-based learning model cooperatively as the effort to improve the qualified graduation who has skill, intelligent, and competent. For the master of PKn study programme from substantially aspect, it is a programme of skill area that can be integrated in the perpectively multi function curriculum.
