Abstract

Pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia terdapat empat aspek penting yaitu mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca dan menulis. Menulis adalah salah satu dari empat keterampilan berbahasa yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis pantun siswa sekolah dasar melalui model Cooperative Learning tipe Think Pair Share. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena siswa masih kesulitan dalam menuangkan ide ke dalam pantun, hal ini disebabkan oleh terbatasnya kosakata siswa, dan siswa masih kesulitan dalam menentukan sampiran dan isi pantun. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas. Prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri atas beberapa tahapan, yaitu sebagai berikut: (1) Perencanaan, (2) Pelaksanaan, (3) Observasi, dan (4) Refleksi. Proses penelitian dibagi ke dalam dua siklus dengan alokasi waktu 2x35 menit persiklus. Penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Pembelajaran menjadi sangat menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa sehingga memberikan motivasi dalam menulis pantun. Dari analisis hasil tes menulis pantun siklus I dan siklus II maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai tertinggi yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus 1 adalah 93 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 100. Nilai terendah yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus 1 adalah 0 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 43. Nilai rata-rata kelas pada siklus I adalah 70.48 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 78.36. Siswa belajar tuntas pada KKM ≥60 pada siklus I sebesar 88.6% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 96%.---------- On learning Indonesian language there are four important aspects, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing. Writing is one of the four language skills which have an important role in human life. This research aims to improve the writing abilities of traditional poetry elementary school students through Cooperative Learning model types Think Pair Share. This research was carried out because the students are still in difficulty in pouring the idea into the traditional poetry, this is caused by the limited vocabulary of students, and students still difficulty in determining the first two lines form the so-called foreshadow (sampiran), and compliments the next two lines, called the meaning (isi) traditional poetry. The research was carried out by applying the procedures of classroom action research. The procedure of classroom action research consists of several stages, i.e. (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. The research process is divided into two cycles with allocation of time 2x35 minutes per cycles. The application of Cooperative Learning model types Think Pair Share can improve student learning activities. Learning becomes extremely attractive and fun for the students, thus giving motivation in writing the traditional poetry. The analysis results of the writing traditional poetry test cycle I and cycle II it can be concluded that the highest by the students in the cycle I is 93 and increased in the cycle II to 100. The lowest that by the students in the cycle I is 0 and increased in the cycle II to 43. Average value class at cycle I was 70.48 and increased in the cycle II to 78.36 . Students are learning to be completed in minimum completeness criteria ≥60 at cycle I was 88.6% and increased in the cycle II to 96%.
