Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba menerapkan model pembelajaran Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility dengan variabel terikatnya yaitu sikap Empati dan Toleransi siswa dalam permainan bola besar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain the pretest post-test two treatment. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 1 Cihaurbeuti, Kecamatan Cihaurbeuti, Kabupaten Ciamis, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas delapan (VIII) SMPN 1 Cihaurbeuti yang berjumlah 301 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini hanya 65 orang dari keseluruhan siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Cihaurbeuti. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket yang diadopsi dari indikator Empathy Quotien dari Simon-Cohen (2003), sedangkan untuk angket toleransi menggunakan skala toleransi yang diadopsi dari pendapat UNESCO. Teknik analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis t test menggunakan SPSS serie 17 pada taraf signifikansi α= 0,05. Hasil penelitiannya yaitu 1). Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility dalam permainan bola besar terhadap sikap empati siswa, 2). Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility dalam permainan bola besar terhadap sikap toleransi siswa, 3). Tidak terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Langsung dalam permainan bola besar terhadap sikap empati siswa, 4). Tidak terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Langsung permainan bola besar terhadap sikap toleransi siswa dalam, 5). Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility dengan model pembelajaran Langsung dalam permainan bola besar terhadap sikap empati siswa, 6). Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility dengan model pembelajaran Langsung dalam permainan bola besar terhadap sikap toleransi siswa. Kata Kunci: Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility, empati, toleransi This study tried to apply learning model of Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility with students' empathy and tolerance attitude in Big Ball Game as the dependent variable. Research method used in this study was experimental method with design of pretest posttest two treatment. This study was conducted in SMPN 1 Cihaurbeuti, Cihaurbeuti Subdistrict, Ciamis Regency, West Java. The population was all students of grade eight (VIII) in SMPN 1 Cihaurbeuti (301 students). Sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The sample involved in this study were only 65 students from total students of grade eight in SMPN 1 Cihaurbeuti. The research instrument was questionnaire adopting indicators from Empathy Questionnaire of Simon-Cohen (2003), meanwhile for the tolerance questionnaire, this study used tolerance scale adopted from UNESCO judgment. For the statistical analysis, this study used t-test technique by using SPSS serie 17 at significance level α= 0,05. The research results of this study were: 1) there was influence of learning model of Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility on the students' empathy attitude in Big Ball Game, 2) there was influence oflearning model of Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility on the students' tolerance attitude in Big Ball Game, 3) There was no influence of Direct Intruction learning model toward the students' empathy attitude in Big Ball Game, 4) There was no influence of Direct Intruction learning model toward the students'tolerance attitude in Big Ball Game, 5) There was a significant influence between learning models of Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility and Direct Intruction toward students' empathy attitude in Big Ball Game, 6) There was a significant influence between learning models of Teaching Personal And Social Responsibility and Direct Intruction toward students'tolerance attitude in Big Ball Game.
