Abstract

Dadang Sukirman. 2015. Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Melaksanakan Pembelajaran Terpadu Pada Mahasiswa Program Studi S1 PGSD Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada latar belakang bahwa mahasiswa lulusan program studi S1- PGSD dipersiapkan memiliki kemampuan profesional melaksanakan pembelajaran tematik di SD, sebagai bagian integral dari model pembelajaran terpadu. Akan tetapi sampai saat ini mahasiswa maupun para guru yang sudah mengajar di SD, masih mengalami kesulitan, sehingga belum efektinya penerapan model pemebelajaran terpadu. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan “Model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa program S1-PGSD melaksanakan pembelajaran terpadu”. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program S1-PGSD kampus bumi siliwangi dan kampus Cibiru. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D). Analisis data menggunakan teknik persentase, analisis perbedaan lebih dari 2 rata-rata menggunakan uji ANOVA, analisis regresi multipel dengan bantuan SPSS versi 19. Hasil pengujian dan analisis data ternyata Model Pembelajaran Terpadu Berbasis Brainstorming (MPTBB), efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa program S1-PGSD melaksanakan model pembelajaran terpadu. Melalui MPTBB dengan tahapan 1) menjelaskan tujuan, 2) memberikan stimulus bervariasi, 3) mengumpulkan data/informasi, 4) membuat struktur atau peta konsep, 5) memilih konsep, data yang memiliki keterkaitan, 6) elaborasi. Mahasiswa lebih mudah dalam memadukan berbagai konsep baik yang terdapat secara intra maupun antar mata pelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar model pembelajaran terpadu, mahasiswa harus ditingkatkan penguasaan dan pemahaman terhadap berbagai jenis metode dan strategi pembelajaran, sehingga mahasiswa memiliki banyak pilihan menggunakan metode pembelajaran untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran terpadu secara efektif . Rekomendasi bagi peneliti lain agar mencobakan dengan menggunakan metode yang berbeda pada tema yang berbada pula. Developing a Learning Model to Improve the Skills of Implementing Integrated Learning among Students of Undergraduate Study Program of Primary School Teacher Education, Indonesia University of Education. The research is prompted by the fact that students of the Undergraduate Study Program of Primary School Teacher Education (henceforth S1-PGSD) are prepared to be graduates who have professional skills in implementing thematic teaching and learning in primary schools, which is an inseparable part of integrated learning model. However, there are many pre-service teachers and even teachers of primary school who still experience difficulties, thereby causing the ineffectiveness of integrated learning model implementation. Therefore, the research aims to produce “A learning model that can improve the skill of students of S1-PGSD to implement integrated learning.” The research subjects consisted of students of S1-PGSD UPI of Bumi Siliwangi Campus and Cibiru Campus. The research adopted research and development (R&D) method. The data were analyzed with percentage technique, ANOVA test difference of two means, and multiple regression analysis with the aid of SPSS version 19. Test and data analysis proved that Brainstorming-Based Integrated Learning Model (BBILM) is effective in improving the ability of S1-PGSD students in implementing integrated learning model. Through BBILM, with the stages of 1) Explaining aims, 2) giving various stimulations, 3) collecting data/information, 4) structuring or concept mapping, 5) selecting related concept and data, and 6) elaboration, students can more easily combine various concepts, both intra and extracurricular subjects. Based on the research results, it is recommended that the ability to teach integrated learning model should be improved, so that students will have improved mastery and understanding of various learning methods and strategies, enabling them to have a large repertoire of learning methods to implement integrated learning model effectively.
