Abstract

Banyak cara yang dilakukan manusia sebagai mahluk sosial dalam melangsungkan kehidupannya, seperti melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan positif yang dilakukan secara berkelompok dengan tujuan untuk memperbanyak teman pergaulan dan saling bertukar informasi dengan sesama. Salah satu kegiatan tersebut adalah olahraga Airsoft, dimana olahraga ini dituntut untuk membangun kedisiplinan, kecerdasan, bertanggung jawab serta saling menghargai satu sama lain. Olahraga ini mulai menarik perhatian masyarakat karena olahraga cukup menggali adrenalin tinggi. Olahraga ini dilakukan dengan cara simulasi perang menggunakan sebuah unit airsoftgun sebagai alatnya, namun unit airsoftgun ini relatif aman untuk digunakan asal penggunanya telah melengkapi dirinya dengan beberapa pengaman yang sesuai dengan standar permainannya. Namun kegiatan olahraga ini tidaklah mulus dalam penyelenggaraannya dikarenakan adanya beberapa masyarakat yang masih beranggapan bahwa airsoftgun itu berbahaya dan tidak sedikit yang menggunakan unit airsoftgun sebagai alat bela diri dan alat kriminal. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk membantu sosialisasi olahraga Airsoft dengan membuat sebuah katalog yang bertajuk “Airsoftgun is Not a Crime”. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengerjaan skripsi ini adalah dengan membuat desain untuk katalog “Airsoftgun is Not a Crime” dimana katalog ini nantinya digunakan sebagai tugas akhir. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir ini adalah semua tentang Airsoftgun dan sumber yang berkaitan dengan Desain Komunikasi Visual. Penulis dalam melakukan pengerjaan tugas akhir ini berpedoman pada rumusan masalah yaitu: 1) Bagaimana proses penciptaan kalatog sebagai pendukung kampanye sosialisasi “airsoftgun is not a crime”? 2) Bagaimana visualisasi kalatog sebagai pendukung kampanye sosialisasi “airsoftgun is not a crime”?. Dengan dibuatnya tugas akhir ini, diharapkan tidak hanya sebagai pelengkap tugas akhir untuk mendapat sebuah gelar sarjana, namun juga berguna dan menjadi sebuah inspirasi bagi komunitas Airsoftgun dalam melakukan sosialisasinya kepada masyarakat melalui sebuah katalog yang memiliki desain menarik bagi masyarakat nantinya. Many ways in which humans as social beings in the hold of his life, as do positive activities are done in groups with the aim to increase the social friends and exchange information with others. One of these activities is the sport of Airsoft, where the sport is required to build discipline, intelligence, responsibility and respect each other. This sport began to attract the attention of the public because of the high adrenaline sport dig enough. This exercise is done by means of war simulations using a airsoftgun as a tool, but airsoftgun unit is relatively safe to use its origin has equipped it self with several security according to the standard of the game. But this sport activity is not smooth in its implementation because of some people who still think that airsoftgun was dangerous and not a few who use airsoftgun unit as a means of self-defense and criminal tools. Therefore, the authors are keen to help socialize the sport of Airsoft to create a catalog titled "Airsoftgun is Not a Crime". The method used in this thesis was to create a design for a catalog "Airsoftgun is Not a Crime" where this catalog will be used as a final project. Source of data used in this final project is all about Airsoftgun and resources related to Visual Communication Design. Author in this final project based on the formulation of the problem, namely: 1) How is the process of creating calatog as campaign supporters socialization "airsoftgun is not a crime"? 2) How calatog visualization as a campaign supporter socialization "airsoftgun is not a crime" ?. With the making of this thesis, is expected not only as a complement to the final project to get a college degree, but also useful and become an inspiration for Airsoftgun community in conducting socialization to the community through a catalog that has a design appealing to the public later
