Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa di kelas V salah satu SD di Kelurahan Sarijadi, Kecamatan Sukasari, Kota Bandung. Hal ini ditandai dengan sikap yang muncul pada saat pembelajaran. Hal tersebut terlihat dari kurangnya perhatian, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, mengemukakan gagasan, dan hubungan sosial. Hal ini menyebabkan rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mencoba menerapkan model pembelajaran two stay two stray (TSTS) dengan harapan mampu memecahkan masalah rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa. Dengan demikian penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang berupaya meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran two stay two stray pada pembelajaran tematik dengan subtema Manusia dan Lingkungan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan keaktifan belajar dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran two stay two stray. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V salah satu SD di Kecamatan Sukasari yang keaktifan belajarnya rendah yaitu sebanyak 12 siswa. Hasil dari pengolahan data membuktikan bahwa persentase keaktifan belajar 12 siswa tersebut meningkat. Selain itu, temuan negatif mengenai keaktifan belajar siswa mengalami penurunan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hal ini terbukti juga pada hasil belajar. Hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 85,29 sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II sebesar 97,22. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran two stay two stray dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar dan hasil belajar siswa. The background of the research is activeness learning in grade V primary student still low. The research took place in Sukasari, Bandung City. The problem can be seen during learning process in the class. Data indicate that students still lack of interest and showing difficulties such as hard in problem solving, speak out their ideas, and social relation. Those are the reasons why activeness learning still bad during the instruction. The research to determine two stay two stray learning model to solve the problem of activeness learning. This research attempt to increase activeness learning by implementing two stay two stray learning model. The purpose of this research is to portray how the increased of student activeness learning and student learning result applying two stay two stray learning model. This research used Class Action Research (CAR) by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The research was conducted in two cycles. Research subject are 12 students of class V in one of primary school near Sukasari. Analyze data prove that activeness learning percentage of those 12 students increased. This can be seen from learning result in cycle I reach 85,29, cycle II the average value of students increased to 97,22. Based on result of the research it can be conclude implementation of two stay two stray student learning model can increased activeness learning and student learning result.
