Abstract
Lembaga Nonformal akan berkembang dengan baik apabila ada motivasi dari pengelola yang ikut berparisipasi dalam berbagai kegiatan yang dapat menunjang peningkatan kinerja lembaga PAUDnya. Untuk itu dilakukan kajian apakah ada hubungan antara partisipasi aktif pengelola di HIMPAUDI Kota Bandung dengan peningkatan kinerja lembaga PAUD. Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) Untuk mengetahui partisipasi aktif pegelola dalam kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh HIMPAUDI, 2) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kinerja lembaga setelah pengelola mengikuti kegiatan di HIMPAUDI, 3) Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara partisipasi aktif pengelola dengan peningkatan kinerja lembaga PAUD. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang konsep partisipasi dan konsep kinerja. Konsep partisipasi terdiri atas pengertian partisipasi, jenis-jenis partisipasi, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi, sifat dan ciri partisipasi dan pendekatan dalam partispasi. Sedangkan konsep kinerja terdiri atas pengertian kinerja, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja, indicator kinerja dan penilaian kinerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling dengan menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pengelola PAUD yang menjadi anggota HIMPAUDI Kota Bandung yang terdiri dari 797 pengelola, dan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 89 responden. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Korelasi Product Moment. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian menyatakan bahwa pengelola berpartisipasi aktif dalam berbagai kegiatan yang diadakan oleh HIMPAUDI Kota Bandung. Dalam meningkatkan kinerja lembaga PAUD, pengelola dapat mengikuti berbagai kegiatan pelatihan, lomba yang diadakan oleh anggota lainnya sehingga dapat berdampak positif terhadap lembaga PAUDnya. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara partisipasi aktif pengelola dengan peningkatan kinerja lembaga PAUD. Dengan mengikuti kegiatan di HIMPAUDI, pengelola dapat lebih meningkatkan kinerja lembaga yang dikelolanya. Non-formal institutions will develop well when there is motivation of managers participate in various activities that can support performance improvement early childhood. For that conducted the study whether there is a relationship between the active participation of managers in HIMPAUDI Bandung with improved performance early childhood institutions. This study aims 1) To know participation active of managers in the activities carried out by HIMPAUDI, 2) To determine the performance improvement agency after managing to follow the activities in HIMPAUDI, 3) To determine the relationship between the active participation of managers with improved performance early childhood institutions. The theory used in this study is about the concept of participation and performance concepts. The concept of participation consists of the definition of participation, the types of participation, the factors that affect participation, the nature and characteristics of participation and in the participation approaches. While the concept of performance consists of understanding the performance, the factors that affect performance, performance indicators and performance assessment. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are simple random sampling technique using a questionnaire. Data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The study population was manager of early childhood that a member HIMPAUDI Bandung consisting of 797 managers, and samples taken as many as 89 respondents. Hypothesis testing using Product Moment Correlation. Results obtained in the study stated that managers actively participate in various activities held by HIMPAUDI Bandung. In improving the performance of early childhood institutions, managers can participate in various training activities, competitions held by other members so that they can positively affect early childhood institutions. There is a significant correlation between the active participation of managers with improved performance early childhood institutions. By following HIMPAUDI activities, managers can further improve the performance of the institution under its management.
