Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah tentang pendekatan pendidikan moral berbasis agama bagi Anak Usia Dini. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh terjadinya degradasi moral yang memun-culkan fenomena sikap dan perilaku sebagian masyarakat pada setiap lapisan yang jauh dari tatanan nilai, moral, dan norma yang berlaku. Salah satu fenomena yang peneliti anggap urgen berakar dari kelemahan pendidikan yang belum mampu menanamkan fondasi moral kepada peserta didik sejak usia dini. Nilai, sikap, moral dan perilaku terpuji banyak bersumber dari nilai, moral dan norma yang hidup di masyarakat dan agama. Penelitian difokuskan pada (1) Bagaimanakah program pendidikan moral berbasis keteladanan cara Islami dilaksanakan bagi anak usia dini? (2) Bagaimanakah bentuk pendekatan dan metode penanaman moral berbasis keteladanan cara Islami bagi anak usia dini? (3) Masalah apa yang dihadapi pihak sekolah dalam mengelola program pendidikan moral berbasis keteladanan cara Islami anak usia dini? (4) Bagaimana upaya dan langkah antisipatif perbaikan pendidikan moral berbasis keteladanan cara Islami anak usia dini? Berbagai teori digunakan sebagai dasarpijakan pemecahan masalah, antara lain teori berkaitan dengan psikologi, pendidikan dan pembelajaran, serta teori perkembangan moral. Penelitian diawali dari survey dan kajian pustaka terhadap fenomena degradasi moral yang terjadi dewasa ini untuk menemukan permasalahan pendidikan yang masih kurang maksimal dalam menanamkan moral sebagai landasan bertindak berperilaku sejak dini khususnya pada anak usia dini. Hasil survey disusun dan dikonsultasikan kepada pihak yang berkaitan erat dengan pembelajaran moral. Setelah mengalami penyempurnaan, kemudian dilakukan uji empiric pada beberapa lembaga pendidikan anak usia diniuntuk memperoleh sebenarnya. Harapan peneliti hasilnya dapat mengungkap secara empiric pada lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini dalam menanamkan moral berbasis keteladanan cara Islami sebagai fondasi sikap dan berperilaku (berakhlak, berkarakter) masa mendatang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : Pertama, pendidikan moral yang dilakukan para guru melalui pendekatan keteladanan secara nyata telah dilakukan pada pembelajaran anak usia dini, namun pada pelaksanaannya masih kurang maksimal terutama pada lembaga-lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini umum. Kedua, pendekatan-pendekatan pembelajaran bagi anak usia dini sebenarnya telah dipahami dan diketahui para guru, namun pada kenyataan yang nampak kemampuan penggunaan variasi metode dan pendekatan masih belum terlihat nyata, sehingga peserta didik kurang terlayani sesuai kebiasaan dan gaya belajarnya masing-masing. Ketiga, model pembelajaran yang mengacu pada pendekatan keteladanan sebagai sarana terbaik dalam menanamkan moral berbasis agama, dan moral-moral social lainnya yang ditampilkan guru baru hanya sebatas pengetahuan belum menyentuh aspek kejiwaan peserta didik, sehingga apa yang dibelajarkan belum memiliki kemampuan menggugah sikap dan perilaku peserta didik. Keempat, keteladanan yang ditampilkan guru sebagai pembelajar masih kurang maksimal, padahal penanaman moral berbasis keteladanan cara Islami sangat urgen bagi anak usia dini dalam membentuk karakter, sikap dan perilaku. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan : penanaman nilai moral berbasis agama sebagai fundasi bagi seorang anak harus dilakukan sejak dini. Keluarga sebagai madrasah pertama bagi seorang anak memiliki peran sentral, demikian pula lembaga-lembaga pendidikan anak prasekolah dan masyarakat. Harmonisasi dan sinergisitas ketiga lembaga sangat dibutuhkan. Temuan ini merupakan kesimpulan tentative untuk dilengkapi dengan rumusan model pembelajaran, media, evaluasi dan lainnya. This study is aimed to study approaches of religion-based moral education for young children. This study is motivated by occurrence of moral degradation which brought out phenomena of most people’s attitudes and behaviors in every level which is far from prevailing foundations, morals, and norms. One of the phenomena that considered as urgent by the researcher rooted from the education’s lack which is its inability to instill moral foundation to young learners since their early childhood. Most of good values, attitudes, morals, and behaviors sourced from values, morals, and norms that live in society and religion. This study is focused to: (1) How moral education programs based on Islamic ideals executed for young children? (2) What is the form of approaches and methods used to instill morals based on Islamic ideals for young children? (3) What problems are faced by school authorities in managing Islamic ideal based moral education programs for young learners? (4) What are anticipative efforts and steps to fix Islamic ideals based moral education for young learners? There are many theories used as basis for problem solving, for instance theories related to psychology, education and learning, and moral development. This study is started from survey and literature review towards moral degradation phenomenon happened nowadays to find out the problems in educations which is its lack in instilling morals as grounding to act and behave since in an early age specifically for young learners. Results of the survey is compiled and consulted to experts of moral education. After it’s improved, empiric test is executed in a number of early childhood education institutions to get the accurate result. The researcher hopes that the result can discover empirically to early childhood education institutions in instilling Islamic ideals based morals as foundation of their attitudes and behaviors in the future. Study results show that: First, moral education proceeded by teachers through ideal approaches actually been done to young children learning process, however it’s still less maximum especially in public early childhood education institutions. Second, learning approaches for young learners actually been understood and known by teachers, but in reality their ability in using methods and approaches variations have not tangibly seen, which makes the learners underserved according to their own habit and learning style. Third, learning model based to ideal approach as the best medium in instilling religion-based morals, and other social morals shown by teachers were just up to theories and it haven’t reach learner’s psychology aspects, in which what are taught to them haven’t inspire learners’ attitude and behaviors. Fourth, ideals shown by teachers are still not maximized enough; in fact Islamic-ideals-based moral instilling is very important for young children in forming their characters, attitudes, and behaviors.Study results recommend: religion-based moral values instilling as foundations for a child should be done since an early age. Family as the first learning institute for a child should have a central role, as well as pre-school children education institutions and society. Harmonization and synergy between the three abovementioned institutions is much needed. These findings are tentative conclusions that need to be completed by learning model formulas, media, evaluations, and et cetera.
