Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarberlakangi rendahnya motivasi belajar anak dalam pembelajaran senam kesegaran jasmani dan senam ceria. Hal ini diduga karena siswa lebih tertarik pada pembelajaran penjas dalam bentuk aktivitas permainan entah itu permainan bola besar, bola kecil, maupun tradisional, disamping karna pada proses pembelajaran senam kesegaran jasmani dan senam ceria tersebut dilakukan tidak disertai oleh hadirnya musik. Sehingga diperlukan alat yang tepat dalam hal ini media audio visual, untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar anak dalam pembelajaran senam kesegaran jasmani dan senam ceria. Dengan demikian diharapkan siswa dapat mengikuti pembelajaran senam kesegaran jasmani dan senam ceria dengan baik serta meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas atau Classroom Action Research pada siswa kelas III SDN 2 Bayalangu Kidul yang berjumlah 33 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi siswa mengenai format penilaian motivasi belajar anak, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi penelitian. Prosentase peningkatan perolehan rata-rata setiap tindakan pada praobservasi mencapai 54%, pada siklus I tindakan 1 mencapai 61%, Pada siklus I tindakan 2 mencapai 64%, pada siklus II tindakan 3 mencapai 81% dan pada siklus II tindakan 4 mencapai 88%. Hasil ini menunjukkan peningkatan setiap tindakannya dan menunjukkan bahwa melalui penggunaan media audio visual dapat meningkatakan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran senam kesegaran jasmani dan senam ceria. Kata Kunci: Audio visual, Motivasi, Senam Kesegaran Jasmani, Senam Ceria The research was motivated by the lack of students’ motivation in learning physical fitness gymnastics and fun gymnastics. This was presumably because the students were more interested in teaching physical education in the form of game play activity whether it was big ball, small ball, or traditional, as well as on the process of learning Physical fitness Gymnastics and fun gymnastics was done not accompanied by the presence of music. So it required an appropriate tool in this case the audio-visual media, to improve students’ motivation in learning physical fitness gymnastics and fun gymnastics. It was expected that students could follow the learning of physical fitness gymnastics and fun gymnastics properly to improve their motivation to learn. The method used was a Classroom Action Research at the third grade students of SDN 2 Bayalangu Kidul totaling 33 students. The instrument used was the students’ observation sheet about children's learning motivation assessment format, field notes, and documentation of research. Average percentage increase which was achieved in every action on pre observations reached 54%, in the first cycle of action 1 reached 61%, the first cycle of action 2 reached 64%, in the second cycle of action 3 reached 81% and in the second cycle of action 4 reached 88%. These results showed an increase in every action and demonstrated that through the use of audio-visual media could increase the students' motivation in learning physical fitness gymnastics and fun gymnastics.
