Abstract

Dalam olahraga prestasi keterampilan merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat penting dalam mencapai sebuah prestasi maksimal. Free throw atau tembakan bebas merupakan salah satu unsur terpenting dalam cabang olahraga permainan bola basket, dikarenakan dalam keadaan tersebut pemain dapat menembak tanpa ada penjagaan dan halangan dari pihak lawan, serta dapat menentukan hasil akhir dalam suatu pertandingan. Dalam gerakan menembak khususnya free throw terdapat faktor-faktor yang mendukung terhadap ketepatan free throw, salah satunya adalah koordinasi mata dan tangan. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai hubungan koordinasi mata dan tangan terhadap ketepatan hasil freethrow dalam permainan bola basket. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskrptif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah para pemain di Club Streat Ball Karawang sebanyak 30 orang yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes koordinasi mata dan tangan dan tes free throw dalam permainan bola basket. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data dalam menjawab hipotesis penelitian (df) n -1 = 58 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,05 P-value < 0,05 (0,00 < 0,05) maka dapat disimpulkan secara umum bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara koordinasi mata dan tangan dengan hasil ketepatan free throw dalam permainan bola basket. Hal ini berarti setiap peningkatan koordinasi mata dan tangan akan diikuti oleh peningkatan hasil ketepatan free throw dalam permainan bola basket. In sports skills achievement is one very important factor in achieving a maximum performance. Free throw is one of the most important elements in a sports game of basketball, because in these circumstances the player can shoot without any guard and obstruction of the opposing party, and can determine the outcome in a game. In particular free throw shooting motion there are factors which support the accuracy free throw, one of which is hand - eye coordination. Therefore, the authors are interested in doing research on the relationship of the hand-eye coordination and precision of the results free throw in the game of basketball. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Population and sample in this research is the players at Club Streat Ball Karawang many as 30 people were obtained by using total sampling technique. The research instrument used was hand-eye coordination test and test free throw in basketball games. Based on the results of data processing and analysis in answering the research hypothesis (df) n -1 = 58 with a significance level of 0.05 P-value <0.05 (0.00 <0.05) in general it can be concluded that there is a relationship which significantly between eye and hand coordination with the precision of the results free throw in the game of basketball. This means that any increase hand-eye coordination will be followed by an increase in free throw accuracy results in the game of basketball.
