Abstract
Produktivitas sekolah dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, di antaranya perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah. Seorang kepala sekolah harus menjadi seorang agen pembaharu, terampil mengambil keputusan, dan memiliki kemampuan teknis dan operasional. Iklim sekolah perlu dijaga dengan baik agar setiap warga sekolah dapat melaksanakan perannya dengan nyaman sehingga produktivitas sekolah dapat tercapai dengan baik. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) Bagaimana gambaran produktivitas sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya?, 2) Bagaimana gambaran perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya?, 3) Bagaimana gambaran iklim sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya?, 4) Seberapa besar pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya terhadap produktivitas sekolah?, 5) Seberapa besar pengaruh iklim sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya terhadap produktivitas sekolah?, 6) Seberapa besar pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya terhadap produktivitas sekolah?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : 1) Terdeskripsikannya produktivitas sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya. 2) Terdeskripsikannya perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya. 3) Terdeskripsikannya iklim sekolah pada SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya.4) Teranalisisnya pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap produktivitas sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya. 5) Teranalisisnya pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap produktivitas sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya. 6) Teranalisisnya pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap produktivitas sekolah SD Negeri di Kota Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah 236 SD Negeri Se-Kota Tasikmalaya. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 sekolah sebagai unit analisis dengan melibatkan 120 responden Kepala Sekolah dan Guru SD yang tersebar di 10 Kecamatan di Kota Tasikmalaya. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah Analisis korelasi dan Analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian pada variabel perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki kriteria tinggi, variabel iklim sekolah memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi, dan variabel produktivitas sekolah memiliki kriteria tinggi. Pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di Kota Tasikmalaya terhadap produktivitas sekolah berkorelasi sedang dan signifikan dengan hasil persamaan regresinya linier. Pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap produktivitas sekolah berkorelasi kuat dan signifikan dengan hasil persamaan regresinya linier. Pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap produktivitas sekolah berkorelasi kuat dan signifikan dengan hasil persamaan regresinya linier. Rekomendari dari penelitian ini dalam upaya mewujudkan produktivitas sekolah, kepala Sekolah yang menempati posisi strategis dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan harus mampu menjadi agen perubahan di Sekolah yang dipimpinnya dengan meningkatkan kapasitas dirinya melalui peran serta pada pelatihan, forum ilmiah, kegiatan organisasi profesi, dan peningkatan kualifikasi akademik. Aspek organisasi dalam iklim sekolah harus dikembangkan dalam rangka penciptaan Iklim Sekolah yang kondusif dengan melakukan komunikasi yang efektif, mengadakan kegiatan yang dapat mempererat kemitraan, baik secara formal maupun non formal antara kepala sekolah, guru, siswa dan orang tua siswa untuk memperlancar proses pembelajaran School productivities are influenced by several factors, including the behaviour of school leadership and school environment. A school principal must be an agent of change,decision-maker, and have the technical and operational capabilities. School environment needs to be maintained properly so every member of the schools can do their duties comfortably so the school productivities can be achieved well. The formulation of the problem in this research are: 1) How was the behaviour description of the Primary School principal's leadership at Kota Tasikmalaya ?, 2) How was the situation description of the school at Kota Tasikmalaya?, 3) What about the primary school productivities at Kota Tasikmalaya?, 4) How was the effect of the Primary School leadership behaviour at Kota Tasikmalaya to the school productivities?, 5) How much was the effect of primary School environment at Kota Tasikmalaya to the school productivities?, 6) How much was the effect of the Primary School leadership behaviour and school environment at Kota Tasikmalaya to the school productivities?. The purpose of this research was to: 1) Describe Primary School of leadership behaviour at Kota Tasikmalaya. 2) Describe primary school environment at Kota Tasikmalaya. 3) Describe Primary School productivities at Kota Tasikmalaya. 4) Analyzed the effect of Primary School leadership behaviours to the school productivities at Kota Tasikmalaya. 5) Analyzed the effect of Primary School environment to the school productivities at Kota Tasikmalaya. 6) Analyzed the effect of Primary school leadership behaviour and school environment to the school productivities at Kota Tasikmalaya. The method used in this research is survey method with quantitative approach. The population was 236 Public Primary School at Kota Tasikmalaya. The sample used in this study were 60 schools as the unit of analysis, involving 120 Primary Principals and teachers respondents spread across 10 kecamatan at Kota Tasikmalaya. Data processing techniques used were correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results of this research is on school leadership behavioral, school environment and school productivities variables which have a very high criteria. The effect of school leadership behaviour at Kota Tasikmalaya to the school productivities were correlated significantly with the results of the linear regression equation. The effect of School environment to its productivities are strongly and significantly correlated with the results of the linear regression equation. The effect of school leadership behaviour and school environment to the school productivities are strongly significant correlated with the results of the linear regression equation. The recomendation from this research is to established the school productivities, heads of schools which occupies a strategic position in the provision of education should be able to become agents of change in schools that leads to all the personnel moves towards higher productivity. Organizational aspects of the school climate must be developed in order to create a conducive school climate to facilitate the learning process.
