Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektifitasdariteknik copy the master dengan media karikaturdalampembelajaranmenulistekseksposisi, serta mengkaji ada atau tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa yang menggunakan teknik copy the master dengan media karikatur dengan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa yang menggunakan teknik dan media yang biasa digunakan guru di sekolahtempatpenelitianPopulasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Rancaekek Tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dua kelas yang ditentukan dengan berbagai pertimbangan. Kelas yang digunakan adalah kelas X MIA 6 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Dalam kelas Eksperimen, peneliti memberikan master berupa teknik, pola penulisan dan penyuntingan yang ditiru oleh murid dalam rentang tigapertemuan. Hasilnya, berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 74,3 dan postes 83, sedangkan kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata postes adalah 72 dan postes 76,06 . Berdasrkan perhitungan uji hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan penghitungan uji-t, hasilnya adalah 21,671 ≤ 15,4≥ 1,671. hal ini berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa teknik copy the master dengan media karikatur efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis khususnya dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi. The purposes of this study are to examine copy the master techniques with caricature media to write the text of exposition, as well as to examine the significant differences between the student’s ability towritethe text of exposition with the student’s ability to write the text of exposition used clustering technique with whiteboard media. The populations in this study were tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1Rancaekek academic year of 2014/2015. The samples in this study were two classes that determined in purposive sampling of the populations. The class that is used in this study is X MIA 6 as experiment class and X MIA 5 as control class. This study used an experimental research design with group of pretest-posttest research. Based on the acquired data, the average pretest score of experimental class is 74,3 and the average posttest score is 83, while the average posttest score of control class is 72 and the average posttest score is 76,06. Based on the calculation of hypothesis testing that calculated by t-test the result1,671 ≤ 15,4≥ 1,671. This means that H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. This study proved that copy the master technique with caricature media is effectively implemented in learning writing especially in learning writing the text of exposition. Therefore, the writer hope that the teachers use clustering techniques as an alternative technique fatherly teaching of writing to improve the ability to write the text of exposition.
