Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kontribusi hasil belajar fashion dan aksesoris terhadap kesiapan menjadi shoes designer. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik. Populasi penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Program Studi Kriya Tekstil dan Mode STISI Telkom angkatan 2009/2010, yang telah mengikuti pembelajaran fashion dan aksesoris dengan sampel jenuh berjumlah 32 orang. Alat pengumpulan data berupa tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar fashion dan aksesoris pada indikator konsep dasar fashion dan aksesoris (definisi, sejarah perkembangan, dan macam-macam aksesoris), sumber ide dalam bentuk moodboard, membuat desain dan menentukan decorative design umumnya berada pada kategori tinggi, dan memberikan kontribusi positif yang signifikan terhadap kesiapan menjadi shoes designer. Temuan ini mengandung implikasi bahwa mahasiswa sudah menguasai fashion dan aksesoris baik pada indikator konsep dasar fashion dan aksesoris (definisi, sejarah perkembangan, dan macam-macam aksesoris), sumber ide dalam bentuk moodboard, membuat desain maupun menentukan decorative design. Penulis merekomendasikan kepada mahasiswa untuk dapat mempertahankan dan lebih meningkatkan lagi penguasaan materi fashion dan aksesoris, dan mahasiswa diharapkan lebih meningkatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai shoes designer, karena peluang kerja menjadi shoes designer saat ini terbuka lebar. Kata kunci: Hasil belajar, fashion dan aksesoris, sepatu. This study examines the learning outcomes contribute to the readiness of fashion and accessories into shoes designer. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic method. The study population is students of Textile and Fashion Kriya force STISI 2009/2010, which has followed the fashion and accessories with a lesson saturated samples totaling 32 people. Data collection tools such as tests and questionnaires. Results showed that the learning outcomes fashion and accessories on the basic concepts indicators fashion and accessories (definition, historical development, and various accessories), a source of ideas in the form moodboard, create decorative designs and determine the general design are in the high category, and contribute significant positive towards readiness to shoes designer. This finding implies that the student has mastered both fashion and accessories in the basic indicators of fashion and accessories concept (definition, historical development, and various accessories), a source of ideas in the form moodboard, making the design and determine the decorative design. Authors recommend to students to be able to maintain and further enhance the mastery of fashion and accessories, and students are expected to further improve insight and knowledge about the shoes designer, because shoes designer job opportunities being wide open at this time.
