Abstract

Guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan bukan hanya sebagai pemberi materi pembelajaran saja, tetapi untuk memperbaiki tingkah laku siswa ke arah yang lebih baik serta bertanggung jawab dalam pembinaan sikap social responsibility siswa. Guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan perlu membelajarkan siswa dengan cara pembelajaran yang didalamnya memberikan pesan moral tentang sikap social responsibility dan menjadi suri tauladan yang baik bagi implementasi pembinaan sikap social responsibility siswa di sekolah. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat peranan guru PKn pembinaan sikap social responsibility sudah baik melalui pembelajaran yang terarah dengan berbagai aspek dalam nilai-nilai penghayatan sesuai dengan indikator social responsibility, Sikap social responsibility siswa sudah baik karena sudah bersikap sesuai dengan indikator social responsibility. Cara pembinaan sikap social responsibility yang dilakukan oleh guru PKn sudah baik karena guru PKn menunjukkan cara dengan memerintahkan siswa untuk selalu mengikuti program sekolah sesuai indikator sikap social responsibility dan selalu membimbing dan motivasi memberikan motivasi baik dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas . Hambatan dalam pembinaan sikap social responsibility siswa yaitu adanya faktor internal dan eksternal. Upaya dalam mengatasi hambatan pembinaan sikap social responsibility yaitu dengan cara adanya kerja sama antara guru PKn, guru-guru lain dan pihak sekolah. Kesimpulannya, peranan guru PKn yang memiliki sikap teladan dalam pembinaan sikap social responsibility siswa di sekolah dengan tugasnya guru PKn tidak hanya berperan di dalam namun guru PKn juga harus berperan di luar kelas, maka dapat terlaksananya pembinaan sikap social responsibility siswa menjadi lebih baik. Seyogyanya peranan guru PKn harus dicontohkan oleh guru-guru lain dan pihak sekolah. Civic Education Teacher is not only to provide learning materials but also to reform students behavior towards a better and responsible behavior for the development of students' social responsibility attitudes. Civil education teachers need to provide students learning materials which provide a moral value related to social responsibility attitudes and become a good role model in the implementation of social responsibility attitudes development in the school. Approach used in this study is qualitative approach. Method used in this study is descriptive method. Data collection technique conducted through interview, observation, documentation study, and literature study. The study results show that the role of civil education teachers in the students’ social responsibility attitudes development is appropriate with the directed learning with various aspects in the comprehension values correspond to social responsibility indicators. The students’ social responsibility attitude is decent considering that the social responsibility indicators which have been appropriate to the attitudes. The method of students’ social responsibilty attitudes development conducted by teachers is decent since the teachers show the method by instructing students to comply the school’s program based on the social responsibility attitudes indicators and constantly guide and motivate either in the classroom and outside classroom. Obstacles found in the students’ social responsibility attitudes development included internal and external factors. Efforts conducted to solve the obstacles in the students’ social responsibility attitudes development included the cooperation among civil education teachers, other subject teachers, and school parties. In conclusion, the role of civic education teachers as a role model in students’ social responsibility attitudes development in the school has not only a role inside class but also outside class, so that the students’ social responsibility attitudes development can be accomplished well. The role of civic education teacher should be implemented by other teachers and also school parties.
