Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara fanatisme dengan sense of community pada anggota Homey Korean Language Club Bandung. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Penentuan subjek sebanyak 101 anggota Homey dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data diperoleh dengan memodifikasi kuisioner Sense of Community Index-2 (SCI-2) yang dibuat oleh Chavis, Lee, dan Acosta (2008) dan kuisioner fanatisme yang disusun oleh peneliti sendiri dari karakteristik fanatisme Seregina, Koivisto, dan Matilla (2011). Teknik korelasi yang digunakan adalah korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara fanatisme dengan sense of community pada anggota Homey. Hasil lainnya menunjukkan bahwa fanatisme pada anggota Homey berada pada kategori tinggi dan sense of community pada anggota Homey berada pada kategori sedang. This research aims to determine the relationship between fanaticism and sense of community in member of Homey Korean Language Club Bandung. The design of this research is quantitative with correlational method. The determination of subject (N = 101) in this research used a simple random sampling. Datum were obtained by modifying a Sense of Community Index-2 (SCI-2) questionnaire proposed by Chavis, Lee And Acosta (2008), a fanaticism questionnaire proposed by the writer based on characteristics of fanaticism proposed by Seregina, Koivisto, and Matilla (2011). The correlation technique in this research used Pearson Product Moment. The result showed that there was a positive correlation between fanaticism and sense of community in member of Homey. Another result showed that fanaticism in Homey’s member is on the high category and sense of community in Homey’s member is on the medium category.
