Abstract

Judul dari penelitian ini adalah Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Seni Budaya di Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru Malaysia. Dengan rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah (1) bagaimana kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dalam mata pelajaran seni budaya di Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru Malaysia?, (2) bagaimana proses pembelajaran seni budaya dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa di Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru Malaysia?, (3) bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis projek terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran seni budaya di Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru Malaysia?. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitiani ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, study literatur, dan tes. Dari hasil analisis data dan temuan dilapangan mengenai kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning sangat rendah hal ini dikarenakan model pembelajaran yang digunakan belum tepat, peningkatan terlihat pada saat proses pembelajaran kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa mulai meningkat, selain itu uji t table yang menyatakan bahwa ttes 8 > ttab1,860. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran project based learning mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa. The title of the research is the effect of Project-based learning model to improve the students’ critical thinking in art and culture subject at Indonesian school Johor Bahru Malaysia. The statement of the problem is (1) How is the students’ critical thinking before they are treated by using project-based learning model in art and culture subject at Indonesian school Johor Bahru Malaysia? (2) How is the process of learning in art and culture subject using project-based learning to improve students’ critical thinking at Indonesian school Johor Bahru Malaysia? (3) How is the effect of project-based learning to the improvement of students’ critical thinking in art and culture subject at Indonesian school Johor BahruMalaysia. The method used in the research is experimental design with quantitative method. Collecting data used in the research is observation, interview, document and literature studyand tests. Based on the data analysis and the finding in the field, the students’ critical thinking is low before being treated by project-based learning. In the process of project-based learning, the students’ critical thinking increased. Beside that, based on the t-test, ttes 8 >ttab1,860.It proves that project-based learning can improve students’ critical thinking.
