Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar proses produksi kerajinan keramik di Desa Anjun Kecamatan Plered kabupaten Purwakarta masih belum efisien dalam menggunakan faktor-faktor produksi yang ada. Sehingga hasil produksi keramik yang dihasilkan belum maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan faktor produksi pada produksi kerajinan keramik di Desa Anjun telah mencapai efisiensi optimum dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat skala ekonomi pada proses produksi kerajinan keramik di Desa Anjun. Pada penelitian ini yang menjadi objek adalah pengrajin keramik dengan tiga tipe yaitu tipe celengan, hias/seni dan pot. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survey eksplanatory dengan teknis analisis data menggunakan model fungsi Cobb Douglas dan jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data panel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penggunaan faktor produksi dari ketiga jenis keramik belum mencapai efisiensi optimum, dimana modal dan tenaga kerja belum mencapai titik optimum. Maka untuk mencapai optimum perlu ditambah atau dikurangi jumlahnya. Kedua faktor produksi penggunaannya perlu dikurangi sehingga dengan dikuranginya penggunaaan faktor-faktor produksi pada industri kerajinan keramik tersebut hasil produksinya dapat meningkat dengan tingkat penggunaan faktor produksi yang optimum. Hal ini berlaku untuk ketiga jenis keramik. Dilihat dari analisis regresinya menyatakan bahwa penggunaan faktor produksi modal dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil produksi kerajinan keramik di Desa Anjun. Sedangkan tingkat skala produksi proses kerajinan keramik di Desa Anjun berada dalam kondisi skala usaha yang meningkat ( increasing returns to scale). The problem in this research is most of the ceramics production process in Anjun, Plered, Purwakarta was not efficient in the use of production factors. So that the resulting ceramic production is not maximized. The purpose of this research was to know whether the use of production factors in the production of ceramics in Anjun Village has reached optimum efficiency and to know how the level of economies of scale in the production process of ceramic craft in the Anjun village. In this research, the object is potters with three types, type of piggy bank, decorative / art and pots. The research method used is a survey research methods with technical explanatory data analysis using the Cobb Douglas function model and the type of data used are panel data. The result showed that the use of production factors of the three types of ceramics has not reached optimum efficiency, capital and labor which has not reached the optimum point. Then for the achieve the optimum should be increased or reduced in number. The second use of production factors need to be reduced so that the reduction of the use of factors of production in the industrial ceramics production may rise to the level of optimum use of production factors. This applies to all three types of ceramics. based on the regression analysis suggest that the use of production factors capital and labor positive influence on the production of ceramics in Anjun Village. While the level of production scale pottery in the Anjun village in a state of increased business scale (increasing returns to scale).
