Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi faktor fisik dan faktor sosial yang mendukung budidaya ikan gurame dan menganalisis potensi budidaya ikan gurame dikecamatan Dukupuntang Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif, sampel manusia yang digunakan berjumlah 67 responden petani ikan dan sampel wilayah sebanyak 8 Desa, teknik analisis menggunakan uji laboratorium, pencocokan data, pembobotan dan presentase. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor fisik budidaya ikan gurame adalah ketinggian tempat, ketersediaan air dan kualitas air meliputi suhu, derajat keasamaan, warna air, rasa air, bau air dan sanitasi. Sedangkan faktor sosial meliputi pengalaman petani, tenaga kerja, modal, kepemilikan lahan, dan pemasaran. Hasil Analisis potensi budidaya ikan gurame menunjukan setiap desa memiliki kategori kelas “Sangat Berpotensi” “Berpotensi”. Selain itu penelitian ini juga menunjukan faktor fisik dan sosial budidaya ikan gurame di Kecamatan Dukupuntang Kabupaten Cirebon memenuhi kesesuaian dengan prasyarat tumbuh ikan gurame, sehingga kegiatan budidaya ikan gurame di Kecamatan Dukupuntang Kabupaten Cirebon berpotensi untuk dikembangkan. The aim of this study is identifying physical and social factors that support raising gourami fish and analyze potential raising gourami fish in District Dukupuntang Cirebon Regency. The methode in this research is descriptive, human samples are used 67 respondents and total sample area 8 village, data analyze techniques using laboratory testing, data checking, scoring and percentages. The study showed physical factors of raising gourami fish is elevation, water availability and water quality including water temperature, acidity, water color, the taste of water, the smell of water and sanitation. Wheares social factors include the experience of farmers, labor, capital, land ownership and marketing. Results analyze potential of raising gourami fish showed every village has a potential class “ very potentially” and “potentially” Besides this study shows to physical and social factors of raising gourami fish in district Dukupuntang Cirebon regency. So the activity of raising gourami fish in District Dukupuntang Cirebon Regency potentially for development.
