Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran intimacy wanita korban kekerasan dalam berpacaran. Intimacy adalah bentuk kedekatan dalam hubungan berpacaran yang dibangun dengan kepercayaan, pengertian, penerimaan, dan menghargai pasangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada tiga orang wanita dewasa awal yang berusia 20-30 tahun dan merupakan korban kekerasan dalam berpacaran. Penggalian informasi dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara yang mendalam. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa intimacy yang dibangun oleh ketiga subjek dipengaruhi oleh pola kelekatan (attachment) pada masa anak. Pada masa dewasa awal, ketiga subjek mencari attachment figure dengan membangun intimacy dalam sebuah hubungan berpacaran yang diwarnai tindakan kekerasan. Intimacy yang dibangun oleh ketiga subjek dipengaruhi oleh empat aspek yang mempengaruhi intimacy, yaitu: kepercayaan, pengertian, penerimaan, dan menghargai pasangan untuk mendapatkan attachment figure. Jenis intimacy yang muncul dalam hubungan berpacaran yang dibangun oleh ketiga subjek adalah manipulative intimacy. Selain itu, tindakan kekerasan yang dialami oleh ketiga subjek menyebabkan U mengalami learned helplessness, DSY mengalami hollow forgiveness, dan D mengalami full forgiveness. This study aimed to examine the intimacy of women as a victim of dating violence. Intimacy is state of having close relationship with someone, usually filled with trust, understanding, acceptance, and appreciating partner. Three women in early adulthood aged from 20 -30 years old who is a victim of dating violence participated in this study. Information was obtained by using qualitative approach and case study method. Data was gathered by using in-depth interview technic. Through the results indicated, that intimacy created by those three subjects was an effect of attachment during childhood development. With that, the impact was seen during early adulthood where those three subjects trying to discover an attachment figure by creating an intimacy in a dating relationship full of violence. To obtain an attachment figure, those three subjects build an intimacy in a dating relationship with involves these four aspects: trust, understanding, acceptance, and appreciating partner. Manipulative intimacy was found in those three subjects dating relationships. Besides that, due to the violence occurred towards those three subjects, U is experiencing learned helplessness, DSY with her hollow forgiveness while D is experiencing full forgiveness.
