Abstract
Berbagai permasalahan lingkungan yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini, sangat berdampak pada permasalahan internasional, untuk menanggulangi permasalahan lingkungan, dapat dimulai dari lingkup terkecil salah satunya sekolah. Sesuai dengan hasil kesepakatan bersama antara Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dengan Departemen Pendidikan Nasional melalui KEPMEN 07/MENLH/06/2005 dan Nomor: 05/VI/KB/2005 yaitu mengadakan program Adiwiyata. Program Adiwiyata merupakan salah satu cara untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan lingkungan melalui pembinaan karakter peduli lingkungan terhadap siswa dan seluruh warga sekolah. Grand Theory yang digunakan dari I Gusti Putu Diva Awatara tentang sumber kerusakan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengetahui peranan program Adiwiyata dalam membina karakter peduli lingkungan siswa, maka dibuat rumusan masalah sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana perencanaan program sekolah Adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 6 Bandung? (2) Bagaimana proses pembinaan karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa di SMP Negeri 6 Bandung? (3) Hambatan apa saja yang selama ini ditemukan dalam melakukan pembinaan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program Adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 6 Bandung serta bagaimana upaya dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut?. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 6 Bandung, sedangkan yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakasek kesiswaan, ketua Adiwiyata, guru PKn, guru PLH, dan siswa SMP Negeri 6 Bandung. Hasil Penelitian yang penulis peroleh yaitu: (1) Perencanaan dilakukan dengan kerjasama tim yang kuat dengan melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah. Perencanaan dilakukan dengan memperhatikan karakteristik, situasi dan kondisi yang terdapat di sekolah. (2) Proses pembinaan yang dilakukan telah memenuhi skala makro dan mikro. Pada skala makro, pembinaan peduli lingkungan telah melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi hasil. Sedangkan dalam skala mikro pembinaan telah dilakukan melalui terintegrasi dengan seluruh mata pelajaran, melalui budaya sekolah saling megingatkan, melalui ekstrakurikuler sispeling dan tim Adiwiyata, dan melalui kegiatan-kegiatan sekolah yang mendukung program Adiwiyata. Adapun kegiatan-kegiatan yang ada di SMP Negeri 6 Bandung yaitu lomba kebersihan kelas, Road Show Event, pemilahan jenis sampah organik dan sampah anorganik, bank sampah, pengolahan limbah sampah, One day without waste, LISAP (Lihat Sampah Pungut), GPS (Gerakan Pungut Sampah), LDKS (Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Siswa). (3) Hambatan yang muncul berasal dari tiga sumber yaitu siswa, guru dan pedagang sekitar sekolah. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengadakan pengarahan yang mendatangkan narasumber dari luar, study banding, sosialisasi kembali dengan para pedagang. Various environmental problems occurring lately, very impact to the international problems for overcome the environmental probles can start from the smallest scope that is school. Appropiate with the agreement between Ministry of Environment and Departement of national education by KEPMEN 07/MENLH/06/2005 and number: 05/VI/KB/2005 that is to held Adiwiyata program. Adiwiyata program is one way to solve environmental problems through character building to care about environmental concerning for students and the entire school community. Grand Theory that used is from I Gusti Diva Awatara about source of environmental damage. Therefore, to know about Adiwiyata role program within character building to care about environmental for students, so made problem formulation such as: (1) How does the planning of Adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri 6 Bandung? (2) How is the process of character building to care about environmental for students at SMP Negeri 6 Bandung? (3) What is the obstacle has been found within doing character building to care about environmental of Adiwiyata program at SMP 6 Bandung and how about the efforts to overcome the obstacles?. This research using qualitative approach and using the case study method. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Bandung, whereas the subject of research is the principal, vice principal of student, chairman of Adiwiyata, civics teacher, PLH teacher, and students at SMP Negeri 6 Bandung. Result of the research that the others got are: (1) Planning is done with the strong team work and involve the whole school community. Planning is done by giving attention of characteristics, circumstances and conditions be found at the school. (2) Character building process is done had fulfill macro and micro scale. Character building to care about environmental had through planning step, implementation and evaluation results. Meanwhile, in the micro scale character building is done through integration with all of the lesson, cultur of the scholl, sispeling extracurricular and Adiwiyata team, and activities of the school that supporting Adiwiyata program. Now activities at SMP Negeri 6 Bandung that is cleaning class competition, Road Show Event, assessment to various organic trash and anorganic trash, trash bank, trash waste management, One day without waste, LISAP, GPS, LDKS. (3) The obstacle appeared from three source that is students, teachers and traders around the school. The efforts is done was held briefing bring about informant from out of the school, comparing study, resocialization with the trader.
