Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis sajak. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest postest design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) kemampuan menulis sajak siswa kelas XI MIA 2 SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok masih ada dalam kriteria belum mampu, dengan skor rata-rata 65,9, 2) kemampuan menulis sajak siswa kelas XI MIA 2 SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok sudah ada dalam kriteria mampu, dengan skor rata-ratanya 86,8, dan 3) adanya perbedaan secara signifikan antara kemampuan menulis sajak siswa kelas XI MIA 2 SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok yaitu dari kriteria belum mampu menjadi mampu, dengan skor rata-ratanya dari 65,9 menjadi 86,8 dengan peningkatan sebesar 20,9. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa t_(itung )(16,35) > t_(tabél )(2,46), artinya hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, sedangkan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Jadi model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis sajak siswa kelas XI MIA 2 SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung. The background of this research is high school students’ lack of skills in writing poem. Based on that background, this research goals are 1) To describe the students of SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung class XI MIA 2 poem writing skills before using the group investigation lesson method. 2) To describe the students of SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung class XI MIA 2 poem writing skills before after the group investigation lesson method. 3) To see whether there is a significant difference between the students of SMA Pasundan 8 class XI MIA 2 poem writing skills before and after using the group investigation lesson method. The method that is being used is experiment equation study with one group pretest postest design. According to the results of data analysis, the conclusion is 1) the students of SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung class XI MIA 2 poem writing skills before using the group investigation lesson method was still categorized as ‘not enough’, with the average score at 65,9. 2) the students of SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung class XI MIA 2 poem writing skills after using the group investigation lesson method was categorized as ‘good’, with the average score at 86,8 , and 3) The significant difference in the students of SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung class XI MIA 2 poem writing skills before and after using the group investigation lesson method from ‘not enough’ to ‘good’, with a raise in the average score from 65,9 to 86,8 ,which means a 20,9 increase in average score. The hypotheses test result showed that t_(itung )(16,35) > t_(tabél )(2,46), which means the alternative hypotheses (Ha) was accepted, while the zero hypotheses (Ho) was rejected. So, the group investigation lesson method could raise the poem writing skills in the students of SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung class XI MIA 2.
